2026 NFL Draft Stock Up
Zion Young, DE, Missouri
After the Senior Bowl, I reached out to team sources to get a survey of players they felt helped themselves in Mobile. The top player that every source called out immediately was Zion Young. Team sources raved about him for his skill set and effectiveness. Given the demand for pass rushers, Young could continue to rise through the process.
Derrick Moore, DE, Michigan
Moore was a productive player for the Wolverines in 2025, recording double-digit sacks with speed off the edge. At the Senior Bowl, Moore had a good week of practice and showed his natural skills to get after the quarterback. Moore is fast around the corner and can bend to get underneath offensive tackles. After his strong week in Mobile, Moore should be at least a day-two pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Malachi Fields, WR, Notre Dame
Multiple team sources mentioned Fields as one of the top standouts. Fields showed his mismatch ability with his excellent size, length, and leaping ability to make catches over defenders. While Fields has good size, he also runs well and showed quality speed at the Senior Bowl. In my latest 2026 NFL Mock Draft, I have Fields almost cracking the first round, and if it works out at the combine, he could be slotted for the first round in April.
Caleb Banks, DT, Florida
Banks had a superb 2024 season, showing an ability to rush the passer from the inside and the strength to defend the run. He played very little in the 2025 season, so it really helped Banks’ draft stock to show teams that he is healthy and ready to play. Banks was very good in Senior Bowl practice, showing speed and explosiveness as an interior pass rusher. Banks gets in trouble when he stands up too high, but the potential is there for him to be a dynamic interior defender, and his Senior Bowl performance improves his chances of being a first-round pick.
Jake Slaughter, C, Florida
Like his teammate, Slaughter had a good week of practice according to team sources. They liked how he handled himself in the one-on-ones, and Slaughter had a lot of wins. He has good strength, polish, and looks like a player who could start quickly. Slaughter could compete at guard and center. After his week in Mobile, he looks likely to at least get selected in the second round.
Lee Hunter, DT, Texas Tech
Hunter had an impressive 2025 season with the Red Raiders and continued his strong play in Alabama. Hunter is big, thick, and stout at the point of attack. For being a heavy nose tackle, Hunter has impressive quickness and explosion. He is a rising prospect that won’t get out of the second round.
Jacob Rodriguez, LB, Texas Tech
Rodriguez was massively productive for the Red Raiders in 2025, totaling 128 tackles with seven forced fumbles, four interceptions, one sack, and six passes broken up. While Rodriguez (6-1, 230) is not a rare athlete with exceptional size or speed, he is very instinctive and is always around the ball. That was evident at the Senior Bowl, and he could continue to rise through the spring with good interviews and impressive tape to help him when the coaches are involved in the draft process.
2025 NFL Draft Stock Down
Jaylin Lane, WR, USC
Lane was quiet in his postseason performances. With other receivers impressing, Lane could get pushed lower into the second day of the draft.
