The in-person scouting process for the 2019 NFL Draft ramped up when area scouts, national scouts, and directors of college scouting hit the road in August to watch prospects in training camp practices. After surveying handful of scouts, here is a list of players who have impressed evaluators from their initial exposure to them in practice.

  • Blessaun Austin, CB, Rutgers
  • Carl Granderson, DE, Wyoming
  • Justice Hill, RB, Oklahoma State
  • Emmanuel Hall, WR, Missouri
  • Lil’Jordan Humphrey, WR, Texas
  • Collins Johnson, WR, Texas
  • Drew Lock, QB, Missouri
  • Erik McCoy, C, Texas A&M
  • Albert Okwuegbunam, TE, Missouri
  • Amani Oruwariye, CB, Penn State

  • Of course, a lot is going to change over the course of the season and during the lead up to the 2019 NFL Draft, but these players made a positive impression on some evaluators from how they performed in fall camp.
