Team Profile:

The Kings are mostly the same, led by all-star big Domantas Sabonis and guard De’Aaron Fox, who I see improving more, but nobody is afraid of the Kings at this point. The other NBA teams knows they’re for real, so I think teams will play harder against them, leading to fewer wins, but again, who fears them? The Kings really need the Hueters, Monks and Murrays of the team to take one more step, which is their only chance to cause said fear in opponents.

Player Profile:

I’m fascinated by Malik Monk. I loved watching him at Kentucky, and I thought he would be a star. That wasn’t the case for him and the Hornets, but he has become an elite sixth man in Sacramento. I really want to see if he is able to improve as much in his second season with the Kings as he was last year. He’s my pick for the league’s top sixth man.

Biggest Strength: The two all-stars

Biggest Weakness: Lack of a third option

Record: 50-32, Fourth in Western Conference
