2014 NBA Draft Scouting Report: Kendall Williams
Position: Point Guard
Size: 6-4, 180
School: New Mexico, Senior
Strengths:
Weaknesses:
Summary: The fact that Williams is a combo guard who is capable of playing either the one or the two at the next level has placed him on NBA radars. He should be a high second-round pick with a slim chance that he sneaks into the late first round depending on what position a team feels he can play at the next level.
Player Comparison: Jerryd Bayless. Like Williams, Bayless is a combo guard who can play either backcourt position and is more of a scorer than true distributor. Both guys are at their best attacking the basket, though it appears Williams has the potential to be more of a threat from downtown than Bayless.
