2023 NBA Offseason Grade – Sacramento Kings

Additions:

  • Jalen Slawson
  • Nerlens Noel
  • Sasha Vezenkov

Losses:

  • Ricaun Holmes

The Kings have had a very quiet offseason, and it makes sense given that they proved they will be a strong playoff team for a long while. Signing all-star big man Domantas Sabonis for five more seasons means that he and D’Aaron Fox will be a duo for awhile, and keeping veteran Harrison Barnes was smart as well. Sacramento being able to bring arguably the Euroleague’s No. 1 player in Sasha Vezenkov was a fantastic addition.

They’ve had a strong offseason, but they still need a third guy who is an all-star talent and they have to know that. The problem is nobody wants to be in Sacramento, so my bet is the club is assuming that man is their starting three.

Signings:

  • Sasha Vezenkov- Grade: A-
  • Nerlens Noel- Grade: B+

Trades:

  • None

Kings’ 2023 NBA Draft – Grade: D

  • No. 54: Jalen Slawson, G, Furman

The Kings traded Olivier-Maxence Prosper, but I have no idea as to why, as he was an ideal fit. He’s a talented young big who should habe been developed. As for Slawson, he has a lot of different talents and could actually make the team. I really hated Sacramento’s draft.
