Where will Johnny Manziel Be Drafted?

If you haven’t seen it, some sportsbooks have posted props on where Johnny Manziel will be drafted (odds for the No. 1 pick are there too). The over-under for Manziel’s spot is 4.5, and you’d have to like the over considering that there are three teams that could take him in the top four.

The Texans will probably choose Teddy Bridgewater, but they have four months to fall in love with one of the top-three signal-callers in the 2014 NFL Draft. Perhaps they’d love Manziel’s play-making ability and liken him to Russell Wilson, who beat them this year.

The Jaguars are also a possibility, but general manager David Caldwell lacks creativity. The Browns are probably the favorite. As I mentioned in my 2014 NFL Mock Draft, it’s been widely speculated that Cleveland fired Rob Chudzinski because he didn’t want Manziel as his quarterback.

There’s also a chance Manziel could fall out of the top four. If so, the Vikings would surely love to snag him at No. 8. If he gets by them, who knows? Manziel did receive a first-round grade from the draft advisory committee, so he won’t fall too far.

Having said that, the Over 4.5 looks enticing, even with the -130 juice. I’m not quite sure about the other prop yet though. The Texans aren’t crazy about Bridgewater quite yet, but that could definitely change once they meet him and have a close look at him.

Where do you think Manziel will be drafted? It’s an interesting question, so I set up a poll. You can also post a comment below it:
