Daniel Jones, QB, Colts. Age: 29.
Re-signed with Colts (2 years, $88 million)
Daniel Jones looked like an MVP candidate to start the year, but then fractured his fibula and then tore his Achilles, which is likely to affect his running in 2026.
Malik Willis, QB, Packers. Age: 27.
Signed with Dolphins (3 years, $67.5 million)
Malik Willis is not the horrible quarterback we saw in Tennessee. He’s made some great strides and even outplayed Jordan Love last year.
Kyler Murray, QB, Cardinals. Age: 29.
Signed with Vikings (1 year)
Kyler Murray has rushing upside, but there are plenty of downsides to him, including poor durability, an inability to get the ball to his best players, and video game-related lethargy.
Aaron Rodgers, QB, Steelers. Age: 42.
Aaron Rodgers had an inconsistent season. He was poor at times, but had some great performances down the stretch as well.
Kirk Cousins, QB, Falcons. Age: 38.
Kirk Cousins had a putrid 2024 season because he was coming off a torn Achilles, but he was better last year. He might have one or two more decent seasons remaining.
Carson Wentz, QB, Vikings. Age: 33.
Carson Wentz made some quality starts in relief of J.J. McCarthy before tearing his labrum.
Joe Flacco, QB, Bengals. Age: 41.
Joe Flacco was far better than Jake Browning as a fill-in for Joe Burrow.
Trey Lance, QB, Chargers. Age: 26.
Re-signed with Chargers (1 year)
Trey Lance still has plenty of upside at 26. Plenty of other failed first-rounders made something of themselves, so why not him?
Geno Smith, QB, Raiders. Age: 35.
Traded to Jets
A top-10 quaterback according to ESPN DEI analyts, Geno Smith was a disaster last season with horrendous decision-making, though it’s not like the horrid offensive line did him any favors. He’s just a quality backup at this stage of his career.
Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Dolphins. Age: 28.
Signed with Falcons (1 year)
Tua Tagovailoa was once a very promising quarterback who piloted Mike McDaniel’s offense extremely effectively, but those days are gone. Tagovailoa’s brains have been scrambled by all the concussions he’s taken, and the next one could knock him out of the league for good.
