Fantasy Football Rankings: QBs – 11-20

Justin Herbert, QB, Chargers. Bye: 12.

Justin Herbert’s upside will be curbed by the conservative nature of the offense. He’s a better quarterback in real life than in fantasy.

Trevor Lawrence, QB, Jaguars. Bye: 8.

Trevor Lawrence regressed each year under Doug Pederson. He’ll have better coaching to support him moving forward. He’ll also get a boost from Travis Hunter playing across from Brian Thomas Jr.

Brock Purdy, QB, 49ers. Bye: 14.

Brock Purdy saw his touchdown totals plummet this past year because the 49ers were far worse in the red zone without a healthy Christian McCaffrey.

J.J. McCarthy, QB, Vikings. Bye: 6.

There’s no reason to think that J.J. McCarthy couldn’t pick up where Sam Darnold left off, especially given the improvements on the offensive line.

Bo Nix, QB, Broncos. Bye: 12.

Bo Nix had a great rookie year from a fantasy perspective because of his rushing ability.

Justin Fields, QB, Jets. Bye: 9.

Justin Fields zipped right down the field without much effort in his preseason Jets debut. He completed three of his four passes, looking accurate in the process. His touchdown came on the ground; he escaped a potential sack and sprinted into the end zone for six. This was a small ample size, but Fields looked great.

Cam Ward, QB, Titans. Bye: 10.

Cam Ward is not as good as other recent top quarterback picks, but he’s athletic and will be able to rush for enough yardage to be a solid fantasy option.

Jared Goff, QB, Lions. Bye: 8.

Jared Goff is coming off an MVP-caliber campaign, but we’ll have to see how he fares without Ben Johnson.

Jordan Love, QB, Packers. Bye: 5.

“No Cookie” Jordan Love will undergo thumb surgery on his non-throwing hand. It’s at least a positive that it wasn’t the thumb on the throwing hand, but Love could miss a game or two because he won’t be able to handle snaps with a healing thumb.

C.J. Stroud, QB, Texans. Bye: 6.

C.J. Stroud won Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2023, but endured a sophomore slump this past season. I’d like him to rebound, but have concerns with the offensive line.
