Fantasy Football Rankings: RBs – 21-40

Raheem Mostert, RB, Dolphins. Bye: 6.

Raheem Mostert is coming off his first 1,000-yard season and will continue to have many opportunities. However, he’s now 32, so there could be some regression, especially in the touchdown department.

David Montgomery, RB, Lions. Bye: 5.

David Montgomery was Detroit’s lead back last year, but that’s bound to change soon with Jahmyr Gbbs having more experience.

Rhamondre Stevenson, RB, Patriots. Bye: 14.

Rhamondre Stevenson saw his yards-per-carry average plummet last year, and he also missed the final five games with an ankle injury. With Bill Belichick gone, there’s no telling what will happen to Stevenson.

Zack Moss, RB, Bengals. Bye: 12.

It was shocking to see Zack Moss perform so well last year in relief of Jonathan Taylor. Moss will have a chance to have the job all to himself in Cincinnati.

Jaylen Warren, RB, Steelers. Bye: 9.

Jaylen Warren had a huge receiving season in 2023, catching 61 balls. He’ll be a solid option if Najee Harris were to get hurt.

Zamir White, RB, Raiders. Bye: 10.

Zamir White looked good down the stretch when Josh Jacobs was injured. He might be the Raiders’ starting running back in 2024.

Austin Ekeler, RB, Redskins. Bye: 14.

Austin Ekeler looked cooked last year, but there’s evidence he was playing hurt. Ekeler was electric in Week 1, but was never the same upon returning from his injury. Ekeler could rebound in 2024, but he’s not guaranteed a full-time role in Washington.

Devin Singletary, RB, Giants. Bye: 11.

Devin Singletary shockingly took over for Dameon Pierce last season. Singletary was impressive, but we’ll see how he does with worse blocking on the Giants.

JK Dobbins, RB, Chargers. Bye: 5.

JK Dobbins is coming off a torn Achilles. He should be 100 percent to start 2024, but his injury history is a huge concern.

Tony Pollard, RB, Titans. Bye: 5.

Tony Pollard was a big disappointment last year, as huge numbers were expected in the wake of Ezekiel Elliott’s departure. Pollard wasn’t 100 percent coming off a broken leg, so it’s reasonable to expect improvement in 2024. Then again, playing in Tennessee is not ideal for his outlook.

Rico Dowdle, RB, Cowboys. Bye: 7.

With Tony Pollard entering free agency, there’s an outside chance that Rico Dowdle could start at running back for Dallas next year. Ezekiel Elliott was signed, but Dowdle is better at this stage of their careers.

D'Andre Swift, RB, Bears. Bye: 7.

D’Andre Swift somehow didn’t miss any time last year with injuries. He was able to rush for more than 1,000 yards as a result. He probably won’t be so lucky in 2024.

Brian Robinson, RB, Redskins. Bye: 14.

Brian Robinson saw his receptions total rise last year, but that will be a thing of the past with Austin Ekeler on the roster.

Tyjae Spears, RB, Titans. Bye: 5.

Tyjae Spears was impressive as a rookie while sharing the workload with Derrick Henry. His stock was pointing way up before the Titans signed Tony Pollard.

Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Cowboys. Bye: 7.

Ezekiel Elliott had some nice performances for the Patriots down the stretch, but he’ll be a backup once again next year, but this time in Dallas, where he’ll have more opportunities.

Nick Chubb, RB, Browns. Bye: 10.

Nick Chubb tore his ACL and MCL last year, so I’ll have no interest in him in 2024. We’ll re-visit this situation in 2025.

Jerome Ford, RB, Browns. Bye: 10.

Jerome Ford did a solid job replacing Nick Chubb last year, but with Chubb due back, there’s no reason to consider Ford.

Jonathon Brooks, RB, Panthers. Bye: 11.

Jonathon Brooks is a talented running back, but he’s coming off a torn ACL, so he’s not a recommended option in 2024. He has great long-term upside, however.

Zach Charbonnet, RB, Seahawks. Bye: 10.

Zach Charbonnet needs Kenneth Walker to suffer an injury to be relevant.

Blake Corum, RB, Rams. Bye: 6.

It’s a shame that Blake Corum will be irrelevant unless Kyren Williams gets injured. If last year was any indication, however, Corum will have some opportunities when Williams is hurt.
