There are two quarterback prospects going head-to-head in this game: Sellers and Mateer. Sellers should probably return to school and improve before going to the NFL, but he has a huge skill set and could still go high. Mateer has missed time with a thumb injury after an impressive start to the season. He needs to stay healthy and play well to be a top prospect for the 2026 NFL Draft.

Texas Tech vs. Arizona State; Saturday, Oct. 18, 4:00 PM ET FOX

The Prospects:

  • WR Jordyn Tyson, No. 0
  • QB Sam Leavitt, No. 10
  • RT Max Iheanachor, No. 58
  • DT C.J. Fite, No. 99

The Matchups:

Red Raiders edge rusher David Bailey is an early-round prospect and a speed demon off the edge. Arizona State right tackle Max Iheanachor needs a good tape against Bailey to help his draft grade. Jordyn Tyson is in the running to be one of the top receiver prospects for the 2026 NFL Draft and he will see a gritty Texas Tech secondary.

Lemon could use a good tape against the Irish cover corners. Notre Dame has a tremendous running back tandem with Love and Price, and they will be a good test on the tackling skills of Trojans’ defensive back Kamari Ramsey.

  • S Bray Hubbard, No. 18

The Matchups:

There is a good draft matchup in this game with Kayden Proctor taking on the Tennessee edge rusher Joshua Josephs. Proctor could go top-20 next April, while Josephs might be a day-two pick. On the outside, Volunteers cornerback Jermod McCoy could be back for this game, and he will see some excellent receivers in Germie Bernard, Isaiah Horton, and 2027 prospect Ryan Williams. Alabama cornerback Domani Jackson will get a good test from Volunteers wide receiver Chris Brazzell.
