2025 NFL Draft Stock Up

Jalen Milroe, QB, Alabama

Milroe is one of the most dangerous quarterbacks in college football because he can beat a defense with his legs or his arm. He proved that against Georgia, dominating in the first half and then making a clutch throw late in the fourth quarter to pull off a comeback win. Milroe finished completing 17-of-33 passes for 374 yards with two touchdowns passing, two touchdowns rushing, and an interception.

Overall, this tape will help Milroe’s draft grade. He showed a strong arm that can push the ball vertically down the field, and most importantly, He threw the ball accurately to all levels. Milroe still needs development with his field vision and working through progressions. However, he is showing improvement weekly. For the NFL, Milroe also needs to learn a lot in terms of recognizing fronts, coverages, and getting his team into the protection calls. Milroe has a first-round skill set, and if he enters the draft, he could be an opening night selection.

Savion Williams, WR, TCU

Williams has had a strong start to the 2024 season with 27 receptions for 288 yards and three touchdowns. The 6-foot-5, 225-pounder is a huge receiver that presents a big target for his quarterback. Williams looks improved over his production in 2023 (41-573-4) and 2022 (29-392-4).

Jonah Savaiinaea , OT, Arizona

Savaiinaea has impressed team sources, and he could make it two years in a row that Arizona produces a first-round offensive tackle. The 6-foot-5, 336-pounder has good size, athleticism, and quickness to block on the edge. He also has a body type that could be versatile enough to move inside to guard or right tackle. Savaiinaea could be a riser that ends up being one of the top tackle prospects for the 2025 NFL Draft.

Trey Amos, CB, Ole Miss

Amos flashed on tape for Alabama in 2023, and he has picked up where he left off after transferring to Ole Miss. Thus far in 2023, Amos has 20 tackles with an interception and five passes broken up. Amos (6-1, 190) has good size, speed, and athleticism. He could be an early-round pick next April.

Nick Nash, WR, San Jose State

Often, small school players need eye-popping production to get attention from NFL evaluators, and Nash is delivering on that quest this year. In 2024, Nash already has 50 receptions with 637 yards and eight touchdowns. The 6-foot-3, 195-pounder has pro size, and if he continues to impress, he could find his way to an all-star game. If Nash performs well against tougher competition, he could be a real riser for April.

2025 NFL Draft Stock Down

Carson Beck, QB, Georgia

Against Alabama, Beck had a rollercoaster night. He is in the running to be the first quarterback drafted, but this game won’t help that cause. While Beck showed some fight and was resilient to lead a comeback, Beck also had some horrible turnovers that played a big part in Georgia losing this game. Beck completed 27-of-50 passes for 439 yards with three touchdowns, three interceptions, and a fumble.

This game will be a negative tape that hurts Beck’s draft grade. Beck made some inaccurate passes, made bad decisions, and had poor ball security. If Beck avoids more games like this, then it won’t matter much, as teams will look past some bad games. Beck has a powerful arm and can rip teams vertically. He looks like a future pro starter, but this game illustrates that Beck still has room for improvement and needs to land with good NFL coaching.

Jordan Hancock, CB, Ohio State

Team sources say that Hancock has a good skill set and is a gifted athlete. However, they feel he lacks some feel in coverage and instincts on the field. Ohio State has not played a good opponent this year, so Hancock may rise if he elevates his play.
