  • The Matchups:

After their third loss of the season, Alabama didn’t deserve to make it into the college football playoff, but they were gifted a spot. Crimson Tide quarterback Ty Simpson was phenomenal this season, but he played poorly versus Georgia and was rattled by the Bulldogs in the Crimson Tide’s blowout loss. Simpson needs a bounce-back game to help his draft value. Sooners quarterback John Mateer is a pro prospect, and he could use a good tape regardless of whether he decides to enter the draft or go back to Oklahoma next season. If R. Mason Thomas comes back from injury, he will have a great draft matchup taking on Alabama left tackle Kayden Proctor.

    • OT Trey Zuhn III, No. 60
    • G Ar’maj Reed-Adams, No. 55
    • G Chase Bisontis, No. 71
    • OT Dametrious Crownover, No. 60
    • RB Le’Veon Moss, No. 8
    • TE Amari Niblack, No. 84
    • CB Will Lee, No. 4
    • CB Tyreek Chappell, No. 7
    • S Bryce Anderson, No. `
    • DE Cashius Howell, No. 9
    • DT Albert Regis, No. 17
    • LB Scooby Williams, No. 0

    The Matchups:

There is a good draft matchup in this game with Aggies speed rusher Cashius Howell taking on Miami right tackle Francis Mauigoa. Each one would benefit from a good tape versus the other. Carson Beck has struggled in pressure situations, and it will be interesting to see how he performs against a good Texas A&M defense.
