  • DT Peter Woods, No. 11
  • DT DeMonte Capehart, No. 19
  • DE T.J. Parker, No. 3
  • DE Will Heldt, No. 13
  • LB Wade Woodaz, No. 17
  • CB Avieon Terrell, No. 8
  • CB Jeadyn Lucas, No. 10
  • S Khalil Barnes, No. 7
North Carolina
  • DE Pryce Yates, No. 5
  • CB Marcus Allen, No. 29
  • CB Thaddeus Dixon, No. 1
  • LB Andrew Simpson, No. 5
  • G Will O’Steen, No. 73
  • OT Jakai Moore, No. 55
  • G Daniel King, No. 52

The Matchups:

Cade Klubnik had a lot of preseason media hype as a first-round pick, but I didn’t have Klubnik that high based on talking with teams and his tape. Klubnik and Clemson have been a big disappointment to open the season, and this will be an interesting tape with Klubnik being matched up against Bill Belichick’s defense. Clemson has a lot of good defensive line prospects, and they will see some Tar Heel offensive linemen who were on NFL teams’ preseason watchlist.

Oregon vs. Penn State; Saturday, Sep. 27, 7:30 PM ET NBC

The Prospects:

Penn State
  • QB Drew Allar, No. 15
  • RB Nick Singleton, No. 10
  • WR Trebor Pena, No. 8
  • G Olaivavega Ioane, No. 71
  • C Nick Dawkins, No. 53
  • LT Drew Shelton, No. 66
  • RT Nolan Rucci, No. 72
  • DE Dani Dennis-Sutton, No. 33
  • DT Zane Durant, No. 28
  • LB Tony Rojas, No. 13
  • CB A.J. Harris, No. 4
  • S Zakee Wheatley, No. 6
UCLA
  • QB Nico Iamaleava, No. 9
  • OT Garrett DiGiorgio, No. 72

The Matchups:

There are two quarterback prospects going head-to-head in this game: Allar and Iamaleava. Allar needs to dominate in 2025 to have a shot at the first round. Iamaleava should probably return to school and improve before going to the NFL, but having a big game against Penn State would really help Iamaleava.

Miami vs. Florida State; Saturday, Oct. 4, 7:30 PM ET ABC

The Prospects:

Miami
  • QB Carson Beck, No. 11
  • OT Francis Mauigoa, No. 61
  • WR Tony Johnson, No. 17
  • WR C.J. Daniels, No. 7
  • DE Rueben Bain Jr., No. 4
  • DE Akheem Mesidor, No. 99
  • LB Mohamed Toure, No. 1
  • CB Keionte Scott, No. 0
  • S Jakobe Thomas, No. 8
Florida State
  • WR Squirrel White, No. 4
  • WR Duce Robinson, No. 0
  • LT Gunnar Hansen, No. 55
  • LT Micah Pettus, No. 57
  • QB Tommy Castellanos, No. 1
  • RB Roydell Williams, No. 5
  • DT Darrell Jackson Jr., No. 6
  • DE James Williams,, No. 10
  • CB Ja’Bril Rawls, No. 11
  • CB Jerry Wilson, No. 19
  • S Shyheim Brown, No. 1

The Matchups:

The Hurricanes have a big offensive line, and they will see some quality defensive linemen led by the Seminoles’ Darrell Jackson. Miami quarterback Carson Beck struggles when he gets rattled, so it will be important for the Seminoles to put heat on the quarterback. Florida State quarterback Tommy Castellanos is a dangerous running threat, and he will be a nice test for Miami defensive end Rueben Bain Jr.
