Javonte Williams vanished at times last year. He hasn’t looked the same since he tore his ACL.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 560 rushing yards. 32 catches. 240 receiving yards. 4 total TDs.Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 124.

As Mike Luchene pointed out in his latest fantasy football video, there’s a good chance Breece Hall will be traded during the season, which would obviously elevate Braelon Allen.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 530 rushing yards. 23 catches. 170 receiving yards. 4 total TDs.Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 124.

Quinshon Judkins was arrested, so Dylan Sampson may have a chance to start as a rookie.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 490 rushing yards. 30 catches. 240 receiving yards. 4 total TDs.Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 122.

Cam Skattebo will out with a hamstring injury. It’s unclear what the timeline for this is, but it’s more bad news for Skattebo after a report yesterday confirmed that Tyrone Tracy is firmly in place as the RB1.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 480 rushing yards. 24 catches. 170 receiving yards. 6 total TDs.Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 121.

Trey Benson is a talented back who could have a chance to have a big workload in 2025 if James Conner gets hurt.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 570 rushing yards. 10 catches. 60 receiving yards. 5 total TDs.Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 118.

Tyjae Spears was on the field with the backups just prior to halftime of the preseason opener. Anyone who believes that Spears will take Pollard’s job without an injury occurring has to be discouraged by what they saw in this game.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 460 rushing yards. 44 catches. 350 receiving yards. 5 total TDs.Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 116.

Tyler Allgeier is a great handcuff to own because he’ll get work even when Bijan Robinson isn’t hurt.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 620 rushing yards. 12 catches. 80 receiving yards. 4 total TDs.Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 114.

Ollie Gordon drew the start at running back in the preseason finale and was terrific. He showed nice vision to find the correct running lane and displayed great burst as he charged through those lanes. He constantly plowed over defenders and carried potential tacklers. Gordon has been awesome this preseason and is the handcuff to own for De’Von Achane. Given that Achane is currently dealing with an injury, Gordon must be owned in all leagues.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 500 rushing yards. 6 catches. 40 receiving yards. 5 total TDs.Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 114.

There isn’t much behind James Cook on Buffalo’s roster, so Ray Davis could take over as the starter in the event of an injury.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 420 rushing yards. 18 catches. 120 receiving yards. 5 total TDs.Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 109.

Nick Chubb tore his ACL and MCL last year, so I had no interest in him in 2024. Chubb could revert to form this upcoming season, but he’ll be stuck behind Joe Mixon in Houston.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 380 rushing yards. 12 catches. 80 receiving yards. 5 total TDs.Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 106.

Rico Dowdle emerged as the primary ball-callier in Dallas last year. He’ll need an injury to Chuba Hubbard to get a heavy workload.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 520 rushing yards. 34 catches. 240 receiving yards. 3 total TDs.Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 104.

Rams offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur noted that Jarquez Hunter will get more opportunities than expected this year. Hunter won’t take away much from Kyren Williams, but he will likely steal touches from Blake Corum, so Hunter is the handcuff to own.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 350 rushing yards. 25 catches. 200 receiving yards. 4 total TDs.Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 104.

Chris Rodriguez figures to be the direct backup behind Jacory Croskey-Merritt.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 480 rushing yards. 10 catches. 50 receiving yards. 5 total TDs.Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 103.

Najee Harris suffered a fireworks incident on July 4 weekend and may miss training camp. It’s not clear why Harris, as a grown man, was so fascinated by bright lights and loud sounds, but he could miss action as a result. This could open the door for Omarion Hampton to emerge as the lead back with the Chargers.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 580 rushing yards. 23 catches. 140 receiving yards. 5 total TDs.Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 102.

Kareem Hunt did a solid job in relief of the injured Isiah Pacheco last year.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 450 rushing yards. 18 catches. 120 receiving yards. 5 total TDs.Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 102.

Austin Ekeler had some nice PPR games in Washington, but he was seldom used as a runner, logging just 77 carries.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 290 rushing yards. 40 catches. 380 receiving yards. 4 total TDs.Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 101.

Travis Etienne lost his job to Tank Bigsby last season, but still saw plenty of work in the passing game.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 450 rushing yards. 42 catches. 280 receiving yards. 2 total TDs.Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 100.

Travis Etienne continues to be a massive bust. Bhayshul Tuten should be able to have an opportunity to start at some point.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 450 rushing yards. 20 catches. 150 receiving yards. 3 total TDs.Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 98.

The Eagles didn’t bother dressing Will Shipley versus the Browns. A.J. Dillon played, but Shipley rested, so anyone who thought that Dillon had a chance to challenge Shipley shouldn’t be worried about that anymore.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 250 rushing yards. 25 catches. 180 receiving yards. 4 total TDs.Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 97.

Justice Hill had some solid performances in blowouts last year.

Brashard White was used in the passing game. Patrick Mahomes targeted Smith twice on a pair of second downs. The announcers made note that the Chiefs were excited to see what they had in Smith as a passing-game weapon.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 300 rushing yards. 30 catches. 220 receiving yards. 4 total TDs.Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 96.

Kyle Monanagi projects to have a big role behind D’Andre Swift, per an ESPN report. Most assume Roschon Johnson will be the No. 2 running back, but it sounds like Monanagi has a good chance to seize that role.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 320 rushing yards. 10 catches. 80 receiving yards. 6 total TDs.Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 96.

I was bullish on Woody Marks when he didn’t start the first preseason game. Dare Ogunbowale got the nod instead, so I thought that the Houston coaches were sitting Marks. That would be the most positive news possible for the rookie runner. Unfortunately, Marks came in after Ogunbowale. Marks has sleeper potential, but the fact that he’s behind Ogunbowale right now is not a good sign for his fantasy outlook.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 310 rushing yards. 27 catches. 200 receiving yards. 3 total TDs.Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 94.

The Ravens didn’t play their starters in the preseason opener, but one viable fantasy player stood out. That was Keaton Mitchell, who scored a long touchdown on the opening drive. Mitchell is an explosive runner who can go the distance whenever he touches the ball. He’s worth a late-round pick in case Derrick Henry gets hurt.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 410 rushing yards. 14 catches. 100 receiving yards. 3 total TDs.Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 94.

Blake Corum is one of the top handcuffs to own.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 320 rushing yards. 13 catches. 90 receiving yards. 3 total TDs.Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 94.

Zack Moss has been cut, so Tahj Boyd is the new No. 2 back.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 340 rushing yards. 16 catches. 100 receiving yards. 4 total TDs.Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 93.

Isaac Guerendo has returned to practice. Much has been made of his injury, but he’s now in the clear and can be safely drafted as Christian McCaffrey’s handcuff.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 300 rushing yards. 10 catches. 70 receiving yards. 4 total TDs.Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 91.

Emmanuel Wilson figures to be a solid backup for Josh Jacobs this year.

Elijah Mitchell will be competing with Kareem Hunt for the backup job behind Isiah Pacheco. He’ll be worth owning if he wins the competition.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 250 rushing yards. 10 catches. 60 receiving yards. 3 total TDs.Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 74.

Kendre Miller had issues staying healthy last year.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 280 rushing yards. 14 catches. 110 receiving yards. 2 total TDs.Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 71.

Khalil Herbert is the No. 2 back in Indianapolis. He’s a must-add if Jonathan Taylor gets hurt.
Projected 2025 Fantasy Stats: 180 rushing yards. 14 catches. 90 receiving yards. 2 total TDs.Projected 2025 Fantasy Points: 64.

Raheem Mostert is now 33. He’s fading out of the NFL quickly. He’s not much of an option even if Ashton Jeanty were to get hurt.
