The Broncos drafted Bo Nix, but if they are so bad in 2024 that they land the top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, they’ll almost certainly repeat what the Cardinals did when Arizona gave up on Josh Rosen after one year by drafting Kyler Murray.
Shedeur Sanders has a high football IQ and great leadership skills. He doesn’t have a stellar arm, but it’s good enough for him to be a top-five pick.

Rumors circulated about the Giants trading up for a quarterback, but they didn’t even bother to address the position. They certainly will do so next April if they have the second-overall selection in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Carson Beck has a huge arm, plus size, and quality accuracy.
Arizona was always expected to pass on a quarterback in the early rounds of the 2024 NFL Draft, but if Kyler Murray continues to suffer injuries, the Cardinals may not have a choice, especially if they have the No. 3 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Drew Allar has a huge arm and a large frame, and he knows how to apply touch and throwing angles.
The Patriots drafted their new franchise quarterback, Drake Maye, at No. 3 overall. Now, it’s time to protect Maye.
Will Campbell has average length, but is a nasty blocker.
Brian Burns is gone, so the Panthers will need to find a dominant pass rusher to replace him.
Harold Perkins is a beast who broke on to the scene with 7.5 sacks as a freshman. He’s an explosive player with tremendous instincts.
The Titans are going to give Will Levis a chance next year. If he fails, Tennessee could target a franchise quarterback at this spot.
Quinn Ewers has a big arm, but must improve his accuracy.
The Vikings have endured some serious secondary issues for a few years. This will be their opportunity to finally fix those.
Travis Hunter has incredible athleticism and plus size. He played receiver at Colorado as well.
The Seahawks have lacked a great pass rush for quite some time. They can rectify that with this pick.
Mykel Williams has an incredible first step and was terrific down the stretch for Georgia as a freshman.
The Saints had a weakened pass rush last year, and they wanted Myles Murphy in the 2023 NFL Draft. This is their chance to obtain a terrific edge rusher.
Patrick Payton is raw and needs to add bulk, but he has immense upside.
The Buccaneers had a poor pass defense last year, so they’ll need to find better players in their secondary.
Will Johnson, who had a tremendous showing during the championship run, has a plus skill set and upside.
Pick change; previously Benjamin Morrison, CB
Emmanuel Forbes looked like a colossal bust last year. A new cornerback could be obtained in the first round if Forbes continues to struggle.
Benjamin Morrison has a ton of upside as a 6-foot cornerback. He did a good job of limiting Marvin Harrison Jr.
Pick change; previously Gentry Williams, CB
Khalil Mack is just a short-term solution across from Joey Bosa, who tends to get hurt a lot. It would be a surprise if both were back in 2025.
James Pearce put a ton of pressure on the quarterback in ’23. He has a ton of potential, but he needs to fill out his frame.
Pick change; previously Abdul Carter, DE/OLB
The Steelers could address the trenches in back-to-back years, as they will need to get younger on the defensive front.
Walter Nolen was a highly recruited player who has shown a ton of upside.
The Raiders considered drafting a tackle in the first round. They’ll need to improve their protection.
Trey Zuhn is a nasty run blocker with good length to play well in pass protection.
The Colts probably would have drafted a cornerback at No. 15 had Laiatu Latu not fallen to them. They still need help at the position.
Jordan Hancock is a very instinctive cornerback and a willing tackler.
Pick change; previously Will Johnson, CB
The Cowboys have a great edge rush, but they could add talent to the middle of the defensive line.
Mason Graham is a relentless player with a non-stop motor.
