2024 NBA Mock Draft

Atlanta Hawks: Zaccharie Risacher, F, France

The Hawks can now trade Trae and build around Riascher who is a very talented three-and-D guy who played incredibly well in Europe. At 6-foot-10, he has starw talent. Sarr would be the second option.

Washington Wizards: Robert Dillingham, PG, Kentucky

If the Wizards pick the Kentucky guard they will find an offensive player who will remind them of former star John Wall. He has 10X All-Star potential. A star guard can take you to the playoffs fast.

Houston Rockets: Alex Sarr, PF, France

They may – probably will – trade this pick in an attempt for a star, but Alex Sarr fits them as a massive, 7-foot-1 defensive ace, who will grow offensively and fits with Alperen Sengun. They should use this to try and get Donovan Mitchell.

San Antonio Spurs: Reed Sheppard, G, Kentucky

Reed Sheppard is an elite shooter and defender and an excellent scorer who will develop as a distributor. He’s the perfect type of a guy to have around Victor Wembanyama. He’s not a star talent, but he could be the second or third guy on a playoff team.

Detroit Pistons: Dalton Knecht, SG, Tennessee

The Pistons need a second scorer to go with Cade Cunningham and they would likely become a 20 point pair. As a shooter and scorer there are few players in this draft comparable to the Tennessee guard. He has star talent.

Charlotte Hornets: Donovan Clingan, C, Connecticut

Mark Williams is fine, but he’s just not Clingan, an ace big defender at 7-foot-2 and a likely double-double guy. He’s a safe prospect and he could really help their D. He’s simply superior to what they have.

Portland Trail Blazers: Ron Holland, F, USA

Holland at 6-foot-7 is a natural and gifted scorer who simply was injured. The Blazers have to find talent at forward and another scorer and they would get that with Holland. If he can develop his jumper a little he can be a third option.

San Antonio Spurs: Nikola Topic, PG, Serbia

Topic is a ridiculously skilled 6-foot-7 point guard with star potential. He’s not a huge need pick, but the potential is intriguing and pairing him with Reed Sheppard would work. They were traded this pick so they should take a risk here.

Memphis Grizzlies: Matas Buzelis, SF, USA

The Grizzlies could use another ball handler and a three and Matas Buzelis is like a 6-foot-10 point guard. He has athleticism and strong scoring talent to go with his point guard talent. Moving Ja off the ball at times could be huge for them.

Utah Jazz: Isaiah Collier, G, USC

The Jazz need a point guard and although Isaiah Collier is an athletic scorer currently, he can develop as a playmaker. Their guard duo of Collier and Keyonte George could be excellent. This may be too soon for Collier, but the fit is strong.

Chicago Bulls: Kyle Filipowski, C, Duke

The Bulls need a scoring big man as they need to trade Vooch and Kyle Filipowski is the No. 1 offensive big in this draft and he can really shoot, score and rebound; he can take Vooch’s job and could become a star for the Bulls.

Oklahoma City Thunder: Ja’Kibe Walter, G, Baylor

Walter is a natural scorer who really needs to work on his efficiency, but he gives them a real boost of offense at guard. He could become the offensive version of Cason Wallace. They could trade this for a proven player.

Sacramento Kings: Cody Williams, PF, Colorado

The Kings have had issues finding a strong four that they can pair with franchise big Domantas Sabonis and Williams fits as a potential two-way stud. He adds needed shooting, scoring and defense. He really needs to get . himself on the court and play to his ability.

Portland Blazers: Zach Edey, C, Purdue

This is a value pick, and with a second first rounder they can afford it. They have Deandre Ayton, but Edey has franchise big potential. The massive 7-foot-4 two-time Player of the Year in college could start in a 15 minute role and have it grow slowly.

Miami Heat: Tyler Smith, PF, USA

A teammate of Ron Holland and Matas Buzelis on the Ignite, Tyler Smith is a 6-foot-10 shooting and playmaking offensive big and he works hard to grab rebounds. He has massive, but raw talent. He’s a very Heat type of guy.
