1/12/10: Morgan Burnett has declared for the 2010 NFL Draft. Burnett is a likely second-round pick, but with all the other Yellow Jackets jumping into the NFL, Burnett made the right move.
Jonathan Dwyer, RB, Georgia Tech – Scouting Report
Height: 5-11. Weight: 229.
Projected 40 Time: 4.44.
Combine 40 Time: 4.59.

Projected Round (2010): 2-4.
3/16/10: Jonathan Dwyer ran better at his Pro Day (4.52) than he did at the Combine (4.59), but all the talk concerning him is that most front offices have a third-round grade on him.
3/1/10: On a day that featured impressive 40s, Jonathan Dwyer managed a meager 4.59 despite losing more than 10 pounds. He may slip to Round 3.
2/27/10: Bills head coach Chan Gailey expressed some concern about Jonathan Dwyer’s ability to keep his weight under control: “Hes always fought the weight problem every year since high school.” And Gailey is Dwyer’s former coach. Dwyer was 5-11, 229 at the Combine weigh-in, but had been overweight this past season.
1/12/10: Jonathan Dwyer has declared for the 2010 NFL Draft. Dwyer is a second-round prospect, but his stock isn’t going to improve anymore. There was no use in risking injury.
10/10/09: Jonathan Dwyer has great measurables, but he’s not a very good runner. He also plays in a goofy offense, which doesn’t really help.
2/6/09: Jonathan Dwyer had an amazing year for Georgia Tech, rushing for 1,395 yards and 12 touchdowns on a yards-per-carry average of seven. If Dwyer manages to run that mid 4.4 at 228 pounds, he’ll be close to a first-round lock.
7/25/08: Tashard Choice is gone, but Georgia Tech fans aren’t concerned. As a true freshman, Jonathan Dwyer totaled 436 yards and nine touchdowns on just 82 carries. That’s a 5.3 YPC, matching Choice’s figure. Dwyer has an excellent 40 for his size.

3/1/10: Really struggled in the passing drills at the Combine. He’s a late-round prospect.
1/15/10: A very smart quarterback who completed 67.9 percent of his passes on a 7.3 YPA. He threw for 21 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
11/7/09: Projects as a solid backup quarterback in the NFL. Having a great senior season at Oregon State (11 TDs, 4 INTs, 68.9%, 7.5 YPA).
