Update (Wednesday, 3:41 PM ET): NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said Wednesday that the league welcomes an investigation into the Eagles' handling of Jalen Hurts' blood clots after the players' union asked for one. (Adam Schefter)
Eagles QB Jalen Hurts is expected to miss the rest of the season after being diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis as well as bilateral pulmonary emboli. He is now on blood thinners. (Tom Pelissero, Ian Rapoport, Zach Berman)
Walt's take: I wrote this week that the Eagles have no hope with Tanner McKee in their backfield. However, they have far greater concerns with Jalen Hurts' blood clot. They won't be doing much winning for the rest of the year.
