Team Profile:

The big move was trading point guard Marcus Smart for big man Kristaps Porzingis, which is a huge win. Boston may need a true point guard as Malcolmn Brogdon and Derrick White are combo guards, but the team will likely be alright. Luckily, the Celtics still have Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown to carry the roster. I have no idea how they will balance Robert Williams, Al Horford and Porzingis, but they have three very talented and unique bigs. Just looking at the roster; their depth went from a strength to a weakness and they have holes around the roster. Regardless, Boston’s 1-7 might be No. 1 in the NBA.

Player Profile:

This had to be about Boston’s biggest addition, Porzingis. I know that with the roster, a lot of his minutes won’t be at center, which was the case when he was a star with the Wizards a season ago. I really want to know how he chooses to play as well because he has been somewhat shyer than a player of his status should be. Porzingis needs to be very aggressive; if he played like that, he could be Boston’s third 20-point scorer.

Biggest Strength: Depth

Biggest Weakness: Shooting

Record: 58-24, Second in Eastern Conference
