2013 NBA Draft Scouting Report: Anthony Bennett
Position: Power Forward
Size: 6-8, 240
School: UNLV, Freshman
Strengths:
Weaknesses:
Summary: Bennett was one of the top freshman in country this season, and NBA scouts will love his versatility, strength, and athleticism. I have concerns about what will be Bennett’s true position at the next, but regardless, he will be selected in the upper half of the lottery.
Player Comparison: Paul Millsap. Since Bennett possesses a rare combination of skills, this is a tough one. His size and strength is similar to that of Paul Millsap who entered the league as an undersized four but has shown his physicality to bang in the post. Bennett is a better athlete and more skilled on the perimeter, but this is probably the closest comparison.
