Denver Nuggets- Grade: B-
Additions:
- Julian Strawther
- Hunter Tyson
- Justin Holiday
- Jalen Pickett
Losses:
- Bruce Brown
Although it looks like they had a boring offseason, the defending champions have been quite busy. They were able to keep important reserves Jackson and Jordan, but lost their premeir bench player. Brown was far too expensive for them to keep; $45 million for two seasons is ridiculous. They basically signed Justin Holiday to take Brown’s roster spot, which is a loss, but a loss we knew would happen. I loved their draft, grabbing three fantastic role players Strawther from Gonzaga, Pickett from Penn State and Tyson from Clemson. The Nuggers had an excellent offseason.

Nugget’ 2023 NBA Draft – Grade: A-
- No. 29: Julian Strawther, F, Alabama
- No. 32: Jalen Pickett, G, Penn State
- No. 37: Hunter Tyson, F, Clemson
The Nuggets need role players for cheap and in the range they drafted they were able to get three. I love Julian Strawther as a role player who can really shoot the ball and is used to being a role player. Pickett was a superstar at Penn State as a big time scorer amd playmaker, but also a talented rebounder and shooter. He could make for an excellent reserve guard. Tyson is one of the draft’s elite shooters and ahould be anle to play a rile off the bench. The Nuggets quietly had one of my favorite drafts.
