Roschon Johnson was impressive at times as a rookie, especially as a receiver. He may get more work in his second year.

Gus Edwards isn’t even a great option if JK Dobbins gets hurt again because of Keaton Mitchell.

Tyler Allgeier’s biggest ally, Arthur Smith, is gone. His production will take a hit.

Jerome Ford did a solid job replacing Nick Chubb last year, but with Chubb due back, there’s no reason to consider Ford.

Elijah Mitchell should be owned in all formats because he would immediately become a high-end RB2 in the event of a Christian McCaffrey injury.

Chase Brown had some impressive performances down the stretch. He could eat into Joe Mixon’s workload some more.

Samaje Perine is Denver’s pass-catching back. He needs lots of players ahead of him to get injured in order to be relevant.

Jaleel McLaughlin flashed last year, but he’ll need Javonte Williams to get injured in order to be relevant.

D’Onta Foreman has played well at times over the past couple of years. He’s a free agent, so it’s unclear where he’ll be playing next year.

Kendre Miller spent most of his rookie campaign being injured. He looked good upon his return, but Alvin Kamara still stands in his way.

Tank Bigsby will be productive in Jacksonville’s offense if Travis Etienne were to suffer an injury.

Israel Abanikanda is currently the Jets’ backup running back, but the team could add someone.

Dameon Pierce lost his job to Devin Singletary, who was a better fit in Houston’s offense.

Miles Sanders lost his job last year. Perhaps he’ll get it back, but he’s not a very good player.

Jerick McKinnon is just a receiving back at this stage of his career.

Antonio Gibson will find work as a receiving back, but he’s unlikely to see many carries in his new home.

Keaton Mitchell would be an intriguing fantasy player this year if he weren’t coming off a torn ACL.

Michael Carter is currently Arizona’s No. 2 running back, but he’s not a great option even if James Conner gets hurt.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire lost his job to Isiah Pacheco and isn’t very relevant anymore.

Joshua Kelley is the Chargers’ No. 2 running back for now, but he faces lots of competition, and the Chargers could add someone.
