2027 NFL Draft Stock Up
Nick Marsh, WR, Indiana
Marsh came up with two huge touchdowns to help Indiana avoid an upset to Nebraska. Marsh totaled 187 yards on six receptions with two scores to lead the Hoosiers to a 20-17 win. Marsh has gone under the radar somewhat, playing across from Charlie Becker, but Marsh was a top portal talent who has an excellent combination of size and speed. Marsh illustrated his early-round skill set, and he could be a riser over the months to come.
Princewill Umanmielen, DE, LSU
Umanmielen has been one of the most productive pass rushers in the nation this season with eight sacks and 26 tackles. In 2025 with Ole Miss, Umanmielen had nine sacks with 45 tackles. Umanmielen (6-4, 244) has some rush ability off the edge, but he lacks some suddenness. As a result, he could be more of a day-two prospect for the 2027 NFL Draft. Still, Umanmielen has been a consistent and productive quarterback hunter that is helping his draft stock for next April.
Eliot Washington II, CB, Clemson
While Ashton Hampton has gotten more media attention, Washington is having an excellent season for Clemson. He is a smooth cover corner who has shown impressive ball skills this season with three interceptions and four passes broken up to go along with 18 tackles. Washington (5-11, 200) has day-two potential and could be a riser during the draft process.
Zereoue Williams, OT, Utah
Williams broke into the starting lineup at left tackle during the 2025 season, and he has been a sleeper who has created a good buzz for NFL teams. The 6-foot-8, 305-pounder is a tall and long tackle who is challenging for rushers to run around. Williams has shown improvement as a run blocker and pass protector and is playing well in 2026. Sources say Williams is rising.
Devan Thompkins, DL, Alabama
In 2026, Thompkins has been excellent for Alabama. He is strong at the point of attack as a run defender and shows the versatility to rush the quarterback from end or tackle. He could be a strong base end in run downs that kicks inside in the sub package. Thus far in 2026, Thompkins has 19 tackles with three sacks and a forced fumble. In 2025 with USC, Thompkins had 31 tackles with three sacks. At 6-foot-5, 300 pounds, Thompkins has versatile size with strength and length. Right now, Thompkins looks like he could be at least a second-round pick next April.
Luke Reynolds, TE, Virginia Tech
< p> This season, Reynolds has been one of the most dangerous tight ends in college football and has been very productive for the Hokies. In 2026, Reynolds has 41 receptions for 431 yards and four touchdowns. Reynolds had a decent 2025 season with Penn State, catching 26 passes for 257 yards. The 6-foot-4, 250-pound Reynolds has quality size to go along with speed and athleticism. Reynolds is rising and impressing with Virginia Tech.
2027 NFL Draft Stock Down
Arch Manning, QB, Texas
Manning had a rough performance against Oklahoma that will hurt his draft grade with pro teams. He completed 19-of-31 passes for 260 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions that cost his team the game. Early in the fourth quarter, Manning made a horrible play. He rolled out to his right and lofted a ball deep down the field. The ball went over his receivers and was in a crowd of Sooners defenders. It was easily intercepted by Peyton Bowen and returned for a 43-yard touchdown to give Oklahoma a 24-17 lead with 10 minutes remaining. Manning came back to throw an excellent deep ball to Cam Coleman over two defenders. It was a great throw as Manning stepped into a hit and delivered a bullseye. A couple of plays later, he connected with Jermaine Bishop Jr., and he darted into the end zone with a 15-yard touchdown to tie the game at 24. Manning helped move the ball for a long field goal that was missed, and he got the ball back with about a minute remaining. He used his legs for a first down, but then Manning made a bad decision as a blitz was coming; he looked and threw late, moving across his progressions to his right, and that allowed a cornerback to easily step in front of a receiver for an interception.
Overall, this tape will be a net negative for Manning. While he threw some beautiful deep balls, Manning threw two fourth-quarter interceptions that gave the game away. Manning could stand to get faster at reading defenses and getting the ball out. Earlier in the game, he took some coverage sacks, but Manning was wise not to force the ball into some dangerous throws. He didn’t make those same decisions in the fourth quarter, and his turnovers cost Texas the game. Manning will need to bounce back in the weeks to come.
