Caleb Downs could be a rare safety prospect who is worthy of going in the top 10.

The Matchups:
As usual, LSU and Clemson are loaded with NFL talent. There will be a ton of NFL eyes on this game with two quarterback prospects. It will be great to see how Garrett Nussmeier handles the pressure of the Tigers’ NFL defensive line, as Peter Woods and T.J. Parker could be first-round picks next April. It will also be great to see how Avieon Terrell handles the speed of Aaron Anderson and Nussmeier’s arm talent. Cade Klubnik will see a tough Tigers defense with future NFL talent as well. Harold Perkins Jr. was a dominating force in 2022 and 2023 before missing most of 2024. It will be fascinating to see if he is back to his pre-injury form.

- DE Rueben Bain Jr., No. 4
- DE Akheem Mesidor, No. 99
- LB Mohamed Toure, No. 1
- CB Keionte Scott, No. 0
- S Jakobe Thomas, No. 8
The Matchups:
Carson Beck was a projected first-rounder entering the 2024 season with Georgia, but Beck had an ugly season that saw him getting mid-round backup grades from NFL teams. That led to Beck staying in college football, and he transferred to Miami. He will face a talented Irish defense including an early-round talent in Christian Gray. The Fighting Irish have the preseason favorite to be the top running back prospect and a potential first-rounder in Jeremiyah Love. Love dominated in 2024 and could be a Nick Chubb-type prospect for the 2026 draft.
