2025 NFL Draft Stock Up
TreVeyon Henderson, RB, Ohio State
There are a lot of team sources that are high on Henderson. They love his speed to break off long runs, his running instincts, and his ability to contribute to the passing game. Sources love how Henderson is a dynamite blocker in pass protection while also being a dangerous receiver that can run choice routes and be a weapon in the check down game. Henderson will probably get selected quickly in the second round, but it would be a shock to people around the league if he sneaks into the late first.
Will Howard, QB, Ohio State
Henderson’s college teammate has a lot of teams that are warming up to him. Howard has been phenomenal in the team interviews, and he certainly passes the eyeball test at 6-foot-5, 250-pounds. Howard is a great teammate, leader, worker, and teams are in love with his intangibles. Howard is not going to go in the first round, but he could go on day two.
Jaxson Dart, QB, Ole Miss
Dart has a lot of positive momentum in the media and in mock drafts. It is common to see him being projected in the first round with the draft just a couple of weeks away. However, a lot of teams did not give him a first round grade. But teams draft out of desperatation, especially at the quarterback position. It only takes one team to fall in love, and Dart has a shot to be a first-rounder.
Josh Conerly, OT, Oregon
Some prospects benefit from the actions of teams in free agency, and Conerly is one of those. There were a number of teams that were unable to land a starting tackle, and that could push Conerly into the late portion of the first round. Teams like the Texans, Chiefs, Commanders, and Lions could all target offensive line help late in the first round, so Conerly has a shot at sneaking into the first round.
Nic Scourton, DE, Texas A&M
Team sources say that Scourton was one of the prospects who helped himself during the pro day workouts. Scourton’s weight was down, and as a result he looked faster and more fluid. Scourton was a projected first-round pick after an excellent season with Purdue in 2023, but his 2024 season disappointed and other players on the Aggies defensive line were more impressive. Scourton’s strong pro day could solidify his chances of being a day-two pick.
2025 NFL Draft Stock Down
Azareye’h Thomas, CB, Florida State
Late in 2024 and after the season, Thomas was viewed as a potential late first-round pick. However, the momentum has worked against him in the months since then. Other cornerbacks like Trey Amos and Jahdae Barron are considered more likely picks on the opening night of the draft. Thomas has a great skill set but some inconsistencies on tape that have hurt him with evaluatos.
