2025 Fantasy Football Round Tiers (Aug. 22):
This Round Tiers page has lists of players I would consider at each round. Obviously make adjustments for your league specifications.
If you’re looking for players who come with great value in the later rounds, check out our 2025 Fantasy Football Sleepers list.
Round 1 (Top Half):
Bijan Robinson, RB, Falcons
Ja’Marr Chase, WR, Bengals
Saquon Barkley, RB, Eagles
Jahmy Gibbs, RB, Lions
Justin Jefferson, WR, Vikings
I’m down on the Cowboys this year, which is why you’re not seeing CeeDee Lamb on this list. I’d draft him in the bottom half of Round 1, but his ADP is No. 5 overall, so he’s generally not falling that far.
Round 1 (Bottom Half):
Malik Nabers, WR, Giants
Drake London, WR, Falcons
Brian Thomas Jr., WR, Jaguars
Just a few receivers in this spot. There’s a lot of bust potential in this range even though many fantasy content creators will tell you every first-round pick is safe. Do not listen to these people.
Round 2:
Bucky Irving, RB, Buccaneers
Chase Brown, RB, Bengals
De’Von Achane, RB, Dolphins
Nico Collins, WR, Texans
Ashton Jeanty, RB, Raiders
Derrick Henry, RB, Ravens
Round 3:
Kyren Williams, RB, Rams
Omarion Hampton, RB, Chargers
Brock Bowers, TE, Raiders
Ladd McConkey, WR, Chargers
Tee Higgins, WR, Bengals
TreyVeon Henderson, RB, Patriots
Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR, Seahawks
Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Cardinals
Trey McBride, TE, Cardinals
I realize it’s highly unlikely that Brock Bowers falls to the third round, but it can happen, and I’d like to be prepared for it.
Round 4:
Josh Allen, QB, Bills
Lamar Jackson, QB, Ravens
Jayden Daniels, QB, Redskins
Jalen Hurts, QB, Eagles
Joe Burrow, QB, Bengals
George Kittle, TE, 49ers
Again, Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson probably won’t be here, much like Brock Bowers won’t drop to Round 3, but this is where I’d take them. Unless a running back or a receiver from Round 3 spills into Round 4, I’m going quarterback or George Kittle because I hate all the running backs and receivers in this range.
Round 5:
Chuba Hubbard, RB, Panthers
DeVonta Smith, WR, Eagles
Calvin Ridley, WR, Titans
Ricky Pearsall, WR, 49ers
Emeka Egbuka, WR, Buccaneers
R.J. Harvey, RB, Broncos
It’s going to be running backs and receivers in the next couple of rounds. Ricky Pearsall and Emeka Egbuka are going later in casual leagues, but you’ll have to draft them earlier if your leaguemates are sharp.
Round 6:
Travis Hunter, WR, Jaguars
DK Metcalf, WR, Steelers
Zay Flowers, WR, Ravens
D.J. Moore, WR, Bears
D’Andre Swift, RB, Bears
Isiah Pacheco, RB, Chiefs
More running backs and receivers. Travis Hunter is a steal in Round 6.
Round 7:
Tyler Warren, TE, Colts
Rome Odunze, WR, Bears
Tony Pollard, RB, Titans
Tyrone Tracy, RB, Giants
Rashee Rice, WR, Chiefs
George Pickens, WR, Cowboys
Tyler Warren is my fourth-ranked tight end, so getting him in the seventh or eighth round is ideal. Rashee Rice’s target area depends on how long his suspension is. This seventh-round range assumes a six-game suspension.
Round 8:
Matthew Golden, WR, Packers
T.J. Hockenson, TE, Ravens
Zach Charbonnet, RB, Seahawks
I highlighted Zach Charbonnet as one of the best late-round fantasy picks in this video:
Round 9:
Jacory Croskey-Merritt, RB, Redskins
Jauan Jennings, WR, 49ers
Jordan Addison, WR, Vikings
Bo Nix, QB, Broncos
Mark Andrews, TE, Ravens
Evan Engram, TE, Broncos
Brock Purdy, QB, 49ers
Kaleb Johnson, RB, Steelers
A bunch of guys here, highlighted by JCM. I think I’d be OK with him in the eighth round as well, but ninth is ideal.
Round 10:
Tank Bigsby, RB, Jaguars
Rashid Shaheed, WR, Saints
Drake Maye, QB, Patriots
Josh Downs, WR, Colts
Jayden Higgins, WR, Texans
Jordan Mason, RB, Vikings
Drake Maye is my favorite quarterback target if I can’t land one of the five elite players at the position.
Round 11:
Braelon Allen, RB, Jets
Jaydon Blue, RB, Cowboys
Tucker Kraft, TE, Packers
Colston Loveland, TE, Bears
Justin Fields, QB, Jets
Justin Herbert, QB, Chargers
Caleb Williams, QB, Bears
Keon Coleman, WR, Bills
Michael Pittman Jr., WR, Colts
Braelon Allen is my favorite player in Round 11. He could be the Jets’ primary back in the second half of the year.
Round 12:
Dont’e Thornton, WR, Raiders
Isaac Guerendo, RB, 49ers
Trey Benson, RB, Cardinals
J.J. McCarthy, QB, Vikings
C.J. Stroud, QB, Texans
Dalton Kincaid, TE, Bills
Dont’e Thornton is the No. 1 player on my Fantasy Football Sleepers page.
Late Rounds:
Ray Davis, RB, Bills
Will Shipley, RB, Eagles
Tyler Allgeier, RB, Falcons
Jayden Reed, WR, Packers
Adam Thielen, WR, Panthers
Tory Horton, WR, Seahawks
Cam Ward, QB, Titans
Brenton Strange, TE, Jaguars
Jake Ferguson, TE, Cowboys
Keaton Mitchell, RB, Ravens
Roschon Johnson, RB, Bears
Rico Dowdle, RB, Panthers
Sean Tucker, RB, Buccaneers
Isaiah Likely, TE, Ravens
KeAndre Lambert-Smith, WR, Chargers
Troy Franklin, WR, Broncos
Pat Bryant, WR, Broncos
Kyle Monangai, RB, Bears
Ollie Gordon, RB, Dolphins
Tahj Brooks, RB, Bengals
Jarquez Hunter, RB, Rams
Cade Otton, TE, Buccaneers
Theo Johnson, TE, Giants
Tyler Higbee, TE, Rams
A bunch of late-round fliers with upside.
