2025 NFL Draft Stock Up
Fadil Diggs, DE, Syracuse
The 6-foot-5, 260-pounder has not been prolific this season, but he has played well and has been put more pressure on the quarterback than the numbers indicate. Diggs has 45 tackles with 7.5 sacks thus far in 2024. Last year with Texas A&M, Diggs had four sacks and two passes batted. The 6-foot-5, 260-pounder is an early-round pick and team sources say they think Diggs will be a starter at the pro level.
R.J. Harvey, RB, UCF
Harvey has been a dynamic and tough runner for UCF in 2024. He has averaged 6.8 yards per carry for 1,577 yards with 22 touchdowns. He also has 20 receptions for 267 yards and three touchdowns. In 2023, he averged 6.3 yards per carry for 1,416 yards with 16 touchdowns. He caught 19 passes for 238 yards and two scores that season. Harvey has some natural running ability and has gained weight to put together a strong build. He started out his collegiate career at Virginia as a quarterback before entering the portal and switching to running back.
Dani Dennis-Sutton, DE, Penn State
While teammate Abdul Carter gets a lot of attention justifiably, Dennis-Sutton is also on the radar of NFL teams. Dennis-Sutton (6-5, 272) is a big body at the point of attack, and he has upside with untapped potential. In 2024, he has 24 tackles with four sacks and a forced fumble. He had 26 tackles and 3.5 sacks in 2023. Dennis-Sutton has day two ability and could be an impressive tester in pre-draft workouts.
Antwaun Powell-Ryland, DE, Virginia Tech
Powell-Ryland has been one of the most productive pass rushers in college football over the past two seasons. In 2024, he has been among the best in the nation, recording 16 sacks with three forced fumbles, 43 tackles, and three fumble recoveries. Last year, he had 40 stops with 9.5 sacks and three forced fumbles. The 6-foot-3, 252-pound Powell-Ryland is undersized for a pro edge rusher, but he could get designated pass rusher consideration for the NFL.
iv id=”mtc-incontent-ad-2″>Kyle Kennard, DE, South Carolina
The 6-foot-5, 254-pound Kennard has quality size for the next level and he has enjoyed a breakout season with the Gamecocks. In 2024, Kennard has 11.5 sacks with three forced fumbles and 28 tackles. Kennard had six sacks last year while playing with Georgia Tech. Kennard is a sleeper that could be a riser.
Tyler Huff, QB, Jacksonville State
Huff has been a solid quarterback over a six-year college career. In 2024 he has completed 60 percent of his passes for 2,003 yards with 11 touchdowns and six interceptions. The 6-foot-1, 215-pounder has a quality arm and passing ability. He could be a late-round candidate or undrafted free agent who is worth signing for backup competition.
2025 NFL Draft Stock Down
Dorian Strong, CB, Virginia Tech
Strong has not been bad this year, but has not impressed. Entering the season it seemed like Strong could end up being a possible second-round pick with fellow Hokies cornerback Mansoor Delane. In following up with team sources, they don’t think Strong will be a second-round pick. They have him more as a mid-round backup.
