Penn State
  • QB Drew Allar, No. 4
  • DE Abdul Carter, No. 11
  • TE Tyler Warren, No. 44

The Matchups:

This game is huge for Allar, as he will see a defense filled with NFL talent. Allar needs to perform well in big games to help his draft stock. The Nittany Lions will need a big game from Carter to limit the Buckeye’s dangerous passing attack and their star-studded backfield led by a first-round talent in Judkins. Warren will be a good test for the Buckeyes secondary.

  • OLB Jalon Walker, No. 11
  • LB Smael Mondon Jr., No. 2
  • CB Daylen Everette , No. 6
  • S Malaki Starks, No. 24

The Matchups:

Beck has had a disappointing season, with a plethora of interceptions in big games. Florida has a weak defense, so if Beck struggles with them, that will be a scary red flag. Bulldog edge rushers Walker and Williams were superb against Texas, and a dangerous dual-threat quarterback in Gators freshman D.J. Lagway will challenge them.

Michigan

  • RT Andrew Gentry, No. 75
  • TE Colston Loveland, No. 18
  • DE Rayshaun Benny, No. 26

  • DT Kenneth Grant, No. 78
  • OLB Josaiah Stewart, No. 0
  • CB Will Johnson, No. 2
  • S Makari Paige, No. 7

The Matchups:

This game has future NFL defensive linemen who could be selected in the early rounds next April. Mason Graham, Josaiah Stewart, and Jordan Burch could all be selected in the top 60. Burch has been missing action with an injury, so his status is a question. Josh Conerly could be an early-round pick, and this will be an important tape for his draft grade. Stewart will test his ability to handle a speed rush, and Graham will test Conerly’s ability to anchor. There will be a lot of draft talent going head-to-head. Unfortunately, Will Johnson has been out with an injury and may not be back to take on Evan Stewart and the Duck’s dangerous passing attack.
