Florida – 2009 Florida College Football Season Preview
The Associated Press is a complete joke. Florida beats Arkansas, who has shown a lot of flash this season, and they move down in the rankings. Meanwhile, Alabama “destroys” South Carolina by 14 and they move up to No. 1. Did I miss something? Alabama is not a better team than Florida.

*Upcoming game: Oct. 24 at Mississippi State
USC – 2009 USC College Football Season Preview
USC beat a highly underrated Notre Dame team on the road. This win impresses me so much. I feel like USC has turned a huge corner since losing to Washington.

*Upcoming game: Oct. 24 vs. Oregon State
Texas – 2009 Texas College Football Season Preview
Texas played great defense against Oklahoma. Chris Brown and DeMarco Murray were held to 1.2 yards per carry. I gotta give some dap to defensive coordinator Wes Muschamp.

*Upcoming game: Oct. 24 at Missouri
Alabama – 2009 Alabama College Football Season Preview
Alabama beat a mediocre South Carolina team by 14. I’m not that impressed.

Boise State – 2009 Boise State College Football Season Preview
Boise State continues to roll. I think their talent is really underrated.

Iowa – 2009 Iowa College Football Season Preview
I need to start showing Iowa the same love I gave them preseason. I’m moving them ahead of Penn State because they continue to win tough Big Ten games. I love their consistency.

Penn State – 2009 Penn State College Football Season Preview
At Michigan is not an easy matchup. The coaching staff needs to get this team prepared for the Wolverines’ spread.

LSU – 2009 LSU College Football Season Preview
Unlike the rest of the nation, I expected LSU to lose to Florida. Wait – we all expected them to lose. So when LSU loses by only 10 points to the No. 1 team in the country, shouldn’t they not drop very far (if at all) in the rankings? LSU doesn’t drop in my rankings because they played how I expected them to play.

Cincinnati
Big win for Cincinnati over South Florida on the road. This was an impressive victory and I moved them up.

*Upcoming game: Oct. 24 vs. Louisville
Miami
Miami has been consistent this year in non-cold weather. Wake Forest is an upset alert because the temperatures and wind could affect Jacory Harris’ ability to throw the ball downfield.

*Upcoming game: Oct. 24 vs. Clemson
TCU
Texas Christian, led by inside linebacker Daryl Washington, continues to impress. Washington is coming to a second round near you!

*Upcoming game: Oct. 24 at Brigham Young
Georgia Tech
Georgia Tech was my preseason pick to win the ACC. They had a huge win over Virginia Tech and they move up.

*Upcoming game: Oct. 24 at Virginia
Oregon
Oregon found a player in LaMichael James and travel up to Washington to face Jake Locker’s Huskies.

*Upcoming game: Oct. 24 at Washington
Virginia Tech – 2009 Virginia Tech College Football Season Preview
Virginia Tech lost by five on the road at a good Georgia Tech team. I don’t hold this against them.

*Upcoming game: Oct. 29 vs. North Carolina
Oklahoma State
Nice win for Oklahoma State over Missouri. Zac Robinson is playing solid ball without Dez Bryant.

*Upcoming game: Oct. 17 vs. Texas Tech
Notre Dame – 2009 Notre Dame College Football Season Preview
When you lose to an extremely good football team at home by seven, I don’t think that is a huge knock. The bottom line is Notre Dame lost one game because the receiver didn’t finish his route (Michigan) and another game to a potential national champion (USC). You aren’t selling me that teams like BYU, Houston, Ohio State and Pittsburgh are better than Notre Dame.
