2010 NBA Free Agency Signings Analysis – July 13 (Last Weekend)
Sorry for leaving you all stranded this past weekend. I was in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan for a bachelor party and had to take the weekend off in terms of free agency write-ups. Let me catch you all up Twitter-style. Here are moves from this past weekend summed up in 140 characters or less.

Plan R for Knicks? at least it’s not for 5-years, 40 mil… NY needed a PG but he and Amare not the offseason Knicks were hoping for.

Never heard of this guy, but 6-5 odds he plays more minutes than Eddy Curry this year… TIMOFEY!!!

Good contract, good fit… Bulls needed a shooter and Korver shot a redunkulous 53.6% from three last year…

Nets needed a backup for Devin Harris but $12 mil over 3 years seems like a lot for an inconsistent unproven commodity…

Baffling… he has averaged 3 pts and 3 reb the last two seasons… Nets are killing cap space by overpaying average players

Larry Brown likes him… I’m not a huge fan so obviously I think this contract is insane… but Cats didn’t want to lose him to Nets

An athletic forward similar to the Ty Thomas mold… but for less than a mil, why not right?

Surprised he left C’s since Griz already have Mayo, Gay, Henry, Young on wing… guess money talks rather than gunning for another title.

Still brings a physicality inside and took another home team discount… maybe he can help turn Monroe into a motivated force down low…

Never really busted out in Miami, maybe he’ll have better luck in G-State… if not, this deal is a little pricey for my taste…

Why any team would give him more than a 1-year deal for the league minimum is beyond me… it is the Clips tho I guess…
