2009-10 Fantasy Basketball Rankings: Small Forwards 1-20 | SFs 21-40

  1. Wilson Chandler, Knicks
A healthy Danilo Gallinari could take minutes away from Chandler who had a surprisingly effective season last year.

    Projected 2009-10 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 13.0 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 1.5 apg, 0.75 spg, 80 3PTM

  2. Marvin Williams, Hawks
Williams hasn’t lived up to his status as the second overall pick a few years ago. He is really the fifth option in Atlanta’s starting five and the addition of Jamal Crawford should result in another less than eye-popping statistical season for Williams.

    Projected 2009-10 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 12.5 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 1.5 apg, 0.75 spg, 45 3PTM

  3. Mike Dunleavy, Pacers
Dunleavy’s return date is still uncertain but he will likely miss at least the first month of the season as he recovers from injury. If you can afford to take him one of the later rounds and stash him on your bench for a while, your patience could pay off later in the season. Don’t expect his typical production though until he has been on the floor for a few weeks.

    Projected 2009-10 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 12.0 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 2.5 apg, 0.50 spg, 60 3PTM

  4. Corey Maggette, Warriors
There are too many swingman on the Warriors to rely on Maggette this season as a consistent contributor.

    Projected 2009-10 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 15.0 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 1.5 apg, 0.75 spg, 20 3PTM

  5. Grant Hill, Suns
Hill doesn’t do anything specatular, but will still put up solid numbers across the board.

    Projected 2009-10 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 11.5 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 2.5 apg, 1.00 spg, 30 3PTM

  6. Shane Battier, Rockets
He still hits a bunch of three’s and may need to be more of a scorer this season with T-Mac and Yao hurt.

    Projected 2009-10 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 9.5 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 2.0 apg, 1.00 spg, 105 3PTM

  7. Ryan Gomes, Timberwolves
Will struggle to reach his career numbers from a year ago with a healthy Al Jefferson and Corey Brewer back on the floor.

    Projected 2009-10 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 12.0 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 1.5 apg, 0.75 spg, 75 3PTM

  8. Kelenna Azubuike, Warriors
Another swingman who could lost in the mix in Golden State, or could have another nice season. Take the risk late if you need to.

    Projected 2009-10 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 11.0 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 1.5 apg, 0.75 spg, 80 3PTM

  9. Julian Wright, Hornets
A definite sleeper as t]it appears as if Wright is going to replace Peja in the Hornets starting line-up.

    Projected 2009-10 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 9.0 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 2.0 apg, 1.00 spg, 15 3PTM

  10. Peja Stojakovic, Hornets
An aging one-trick pony who will hit triples but is expected to see a decrease in playing time.

    Projected 2009-10 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 11.5 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 1.0 apg, 0.50 spg, 115 3PTM

  11. Matt Barnes, Magic
Will fight for playing time, but does a little bit of everything when he is on the floor.

    Projected 2009-10 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 8.0 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 2.5 apg, 0.75 spg, 75 3PTM

  12. Travis Outlaw, Blazers
Will be battling with Nicolas Batum and Martell Webster for minutes at the 3 for Portland and is the safest pick of that group.

    Projected 2009-10 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 10.0 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 1.0 apg, 0.50 spg, 50 3PTM

  13. Martell Webster, Blazers
Returning from injury, could be a good late-round pick if he returns to his form from two years ago.

    Projected 2009-10 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 9.0 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 1.0 apg, 0.50 spg, 80 3PTM

  14. Quentin Richardson, Heat
Miami needs all the help they can get for Dwyane Wade and Q-Rich is in a contract year which will add to his motivation.

    Projected 2009-10 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 9.0 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 1.5 apg, 0.50 spg, 95 3PTM

  15. Earl Clark, Suns
A versatile rookie who might be worth a late round flyer in case he catches on quickly in the desert.

    Projected 2009-10 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 7.5 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 2.5 apg, 1.00 spg, 35 3PTM

  16. Ersan Ilyasova, Bucks
The Bucks forward situation is a mess, but Ilyasova could become a starter after spending the last two years in Turkey.

    Projected 2009-10 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 8.0 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 1.0 apg, 0.50 spg, 90 3PTM

  17. Jamario Moon, Cavaliers
Not sure what his role will be playing behind LeBron, but I don’t expect to be as productive as he has been the last couple years.

    Projected 2009-10 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 7.0 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 1.0 apg, 1.00 spg, 40 3PTM

  18. Carlos Delfino, Bucks
A shooter in the mix for playing time on the wing, his value would greatly increase if he is named starter or Michael Redd suffers an injury.

    Projected 2009-10 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 7.5 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 1.5 apg, 0.75 spg, 80 3PTM

  19. Desmond Mason, Kings
With Francisco Garcia out four-six months, Mason likely takes over as Sacramento’s starting small forward.

    Projected 2009-10 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 8.5 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 1.5 apg, 0.50 spg, 5 3PTM

  20. Corey Brewer, Timberwolves
Brewer’s career in the NBA has been hampered by injury, but he could be a sleeper now that he is healthy and the T-Wolves don’t have a true answer at the two.

    Projected 2009-10 Fantasy Basketball Stats: 7.0 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 2.0 apg, 1.25 spg, 15 3PTM
