2011 NBA Draft Scouting Report: Enes Kanter

Size: 6-10, 255

Summary: Despite being ruled ineligible at Kentucky this past season, Enes Kanter remains the best big man prospect in the 2011 NBA Draft class. He possesses the size and post game of someone well beyond his years and should be a top-five pick come June.
Player Comparison: Tim Duncan. Before I get lit up for this comparison, I am in no way implying that Kanter is going to be the next Tim Duncan, but rather the two have fairly similar games. Like the Big Fundamental, Kanter shows great maturity at a young age, ability to rebound, mid-range game and intelligence.
Duncan has never been by any stretch of the imagination one of the most athletic big men around, and neither will Kanter, but still maximizes the abilities that have made him one of the top post players in the league for more than a decade. Kanter will likely never be in that category, but should be a quality big man for years to come.
