2013 NBA Draft Scouting Report: Kenny Kadji
Position: Power Forward
Size: 6-10, 242
School: Miami, Senior
Strengths:
Weaknesses:
Summary: Because of injuries and bouncing around at the college level, Kadji is already a veteran compared to most NBA prospects, which means he doesn’t have a ton of upside. With that being said, he can be a stretch four at the next level due to his ability to knock down shots and space the floor. He is a solid second-round prospect who, on the right team, could become a role player.
Player Comparison: Anthony Tolliver. Though Kadji has a couple of inches on Tolliver, the two are similar with their ability to knock down outside shots. Tolliver has scraped by to be a decent reserve at the NBA level and that should be the case for Kadji as well. Becoming more of a threat as a rebounder should help the former Hurricane stick around the NBA.
