2016-17 Team Salary: Approximately $74.2 million

NBA Offseason Team Needs:

1. Max Out Barnes?: Some team is going to pay Harrison Barnes an absurd amount of money this summer, and since the Warriors having limited cap space, they will probably have to let him leave. If management can possibly move Andrew Bogut or Andre Iguodala, that could free up enough space to bring Barnes back. Another option for Golden State would be trying to swing a sign-and-trade deal to get something in return whether it be a role player or future pick.

2. Wing Depth: Whether Barnes is back or not, the Warriors should look to add another wing or two to provide some depth. Both Leandro Barbosa and Brandon Rush are free agents and might be willing to return for a cheap price. More than likely, Golden State has to go bargain shopping here to find some veterans willing to take the league minimum in hopes of playing for an NBA Championship.

3. A Big: With Marresse Speights and Andreson Varejao unrestricted free agents, Festus Ezeli a restricted free agent, and Andrew Bogut constantly banged up; the Warriors need to solidify their depth inside. Yes, they use a smaller lineup at times, but they still need a steady force inside. Ezeli might be lured away by another team willing to spend more than Golden State, but Varejao could potentially be brought back for a reasonable rate.
