2025 NFL Draft Stock Up
Armand Membou, OT, Missouri
The betting odds for Membou being the first offensive lineman drafted shot up after the NFL Scouting Combine and the media hype for Membou has been overdrive. Membou had an excellent workout in Indianapolis showing rare speed and athleticism. Team sources have not been as high on Membou as the media suggest, with team evaluators saying he lacks length, did not finish well on tape, and could be better off playing guard in the NFL. Still in the media hype and shorts and t-shirt workout time of year, Membou has the wind at his back and could go in the top-16 picks next April.
Will Campbell, OT, LSU
While the media has been hyping Membou a lot, Campbell has gotten a lot of praise from team sources. Campbell had a strong combine performance as well to go along with offensive tackle size. While Campbell has short arms, team sources have said there have been plenty of NFL tackles that had productive long careers with similar arm length. One source mentioned former Texans tackle Eric Winston as an example. Campbell also has a lot of experience as a three-year starter at left tackle in the SEC. He looks like a safe pick to go in the top-10.
Jaxson Dart, QB, Ole Miss
There is low supply, and huge demand for young franchise quarterbcks for NFL teams and that is benefitting Dart. While Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson could sign with teams to occupy two starting quarterback positions, that still leaves some teams that do not have an answer for a long-term starter. Teams like the Browns, Jets, Raiders, and Saints probably won’t take a quarterback with their first selection, but they are all candidates to target Dart in round two. That might prompt the team that really wants him to trade back into the end of the first round to get him. Dart is not a consensus first-round talent, but the desparation for NFL teams to find a long-term starter works in Dart’s favor to help him rise in the 2025 NFL Draft.
J.T. Tuimoloau, DE, Ohio State
While teammate Jack Sawyer has gotten more media attention and hype with some late first-round projections in mock drafts, Tuimoloau graded out higher with NFL teams. Team sources like that Tuimoloau rushes with power and can go through blockers off the edge. He also is athletic and quick enough to get around guys. With a better motor, consistency, and production in 2024, Tuimoloau could go late in the first round and won’t get out of the second round according to team sources.
Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State
There are a lot of team sources that really like Egbuka. Team sources feel that Egbuka is a very polished receiver with excellent hands, route-running, athleticism, and speed. One source said that Egbuka could be a Hines Ward type receiver in the NFL and they think he will have a long productive career. Egbuka could go late in the first round and has a lot of evaluators that are excited about drafting him.
2025 NFL Draft Stock Down
Jordan Burch, DE, Oregon
Team source all rave about the skill set with Burch. They love his combination of size, speed, strengthl, athleticism, and shocking agility. While many see him as a first-round talent, Burch’s inconsistencies in college and not playing up to his skill set is putting a ceiling on high he can get drafted. Those concerns are leading him to be a consensus day-two pick despite the skill set and first-round flashes on tape.
Jason Marshall, CB, Florida
Early in his career at Florida, Marshall flashed ability showing a good combination of size and speed. However, Marshall had some rough games and bad tape ove the past few seasons. He has the skill set to go in the top half of the draft, but he probably will slip well into day three because of the tape.
