The 2024 NFL Draft is known to be a great year for wide receiver talent, and there could be three who are taken as top-10 picks. The consensus top wideout is Ohio State’s Marvin Harrison Jr. After Harrison, there have been some projections of LSU’s Malik Nabers being the next receiver off the board, but there have also been some projections of Washington’s Rome Odunze going after Harrison. In a survey of five teams, all five had Nabers graded higher and thought he would be the second receiver selected in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Sources from all five franchises liked both receivers a lot. A couple of teams had an elite grade on Nabers, saying they loved his explosive playmaking ability and game-breaking speed. Nabers is a threat to score on any reception and is very difficult for cornerbacks to keep from getting separation. Odunze is viewed as more of a size-mismatch receiver. All the teams like him, although some think there could be some pro corners who he will have issues separating from.
Both Nabers and Odunze should go in the top 10 of the 2024 NFL Draft. However by the sounds of it from team sources, Nabers is likely to go ahead of Odunze.
