Team Profile:
This team rolls as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander rolls and the pieces that Sam Presti adds around him. Josh Giddey has proven himself as an excellent secondary ball-handler and scorer, and he and Gilgeous-Alexander make for a strong duo. Seeing rookie big man, last season’s No. 2 pick, Chet Holmgren will be fun, as he has star talent and adds a much-needed center. I’m also a fan of rookie combo guard Cason Wallace, who I think will become the Thunder’s starting two soon. They were a lot stronger as a team than people expected, and they should be again.
Player Profile:
This had to be about superstar guard Gilgeous-Alexander. He just made All-NBA First-Team scoring more than 30 points, running the offense and defending hard. With him and the hodge podge of young talent, Oklahoma City can make quite a run. He’s a truly special talent.
