Team Profile:
The Pacers made two huge moves this offseason and are soon to make one more, as they will be trading starting shooting guard Buddy Hield very soon. The first move was drafting potential star forward Jarase Walker, and the second move was signing fellow forward Bruce Brown to a big-money deal. The Pacers are stacked at the guard positions – for now -, but they could stand to improve their big situation, although I love the addition of Toppin, who could play a huge role. Indiana has to be hoping Bennedict Mathurin can take the role as the starter at the two, which is very needed, but the franchise is one season from the playoffs.
Player Profile:
Bennedict Mathurin had an excellent rookie season, acting as Indiana’s No. 2 scorer for most of the year. He wasn’t consistent, but if he finds that consistency, he could be the team’s No. 1 scorer.
