2017-18 Team Salary: Approximately $110.5 million

NBA Offseason Team Needs:

1. Extend Roberson?: Roberson has been a staple in the Oklahoma City starting lineup the past three seasons and is a restricted free agent. The Thunder already have a ton of money committed to their roster next season, and Roberson’s value in free agency might be more than they are willing to pay.

2. Power Forward: The Thunder acquired Taj Gibson prior to the trade deadline to bean upgrade at power forward, but he is a free agent this summer. While last year’s first-round pick, Domantas Sabonis, started 66 games, Oklahoma City would be wise to add a veteran power forward who brings more scoring ability.

3. Backup Point Guard: Oklahoma City dealt Cameron Payne in the Gibson trade and relied on Semaj Christon as its backup point guard throughout the season. The Thunder could use an upgrade behind Russell Westbrook.
