NBA Offseason Team Needs:

1. Bye George?: There have been and will be plenty of rumors surrounding Paul George’s future in Indiana since he is entering the final guaranteed year of his contract. There have been rumblings that George is ready to move on from the Pacers, which is why the front office needs to put serious thought into trading him if they are unable to reach an extension of some sort. The worst thing that can happen is losing him next summer in free agency and not getting anything in return.

2. Point Guard: Jeff Teague is an unrestricted free agent and should receive nearly double the $8 million he earned last year, if not more. This year’s crop of free agent point guards is not outstanding, but if Teague ends up leaving, Indiana will be searching for a starting floor general.

3. Wing Depth: Monta Ellis has been disappointing in his two years with the Pacers, and C.J. Miles is a free agent, so expect the team to be looking for wing depth even if George is still on the roster.
