  1. Gary Trent Jr., SG, Toronto Raptors, PO, 24
Trent hasn’t been as strong as he was in his first season with the Raptors, but he is the prototypical NBA shooting guard when considering his size and offensive skills. He is still just 24 and could become a legit second option.

  2. Jordan Clarkson, SG, Utah Jazz, PO, 30
Clarkson is starting for the Jazz and scoring a lot of points, which has been his skill since he was drafted. He is best as a sixth man on an elite team, but this has been his best season and he will be paid well.

  3. Josh Hart, SG, New York Knicks, PO, 28
Hart is a unique talent. He can score 20 points in some games, is an elite rebounding guard, an excellent shooter and also a strong distributor. The Knicks traded quite the haul for him and should re-sign him.

  4. Ayo Dosunmu, SG, Chicago Bulls, RFA, 23
Donmusu has started this season and has played well for the Bulls. He is a combo guard who can shoot, defend and score, and as a restricted free agent, he will likely be re-signed.

  5. Victor Oladipo, SG, Miami Heat, UFA, 30
If Oladipo hadn’t suffered from multiple injuries, there is little doubt he’d be ranked among the first nine players. He is playing very well for Miami as a sixth man, which is his ideal role.

  6. Seth Curry, SG, Brooklyn Nets, UFA, 32
Curry, like his older brother, is one of the most efficient shooters in the league. He is a brilliant offensive player, but is a small two-guard and is not much of a playmaker, which hurts his rating.

  7. Damien Lee, SG, Phoenix Suns, PO, 30
Stephen Curry’s brother-in-law has performed well for the Suns in his bench role, which is important because they have very few solid reserves. He is a very efficient scorer and fantastic shooter from three.

  8. Max Strus, SG, Miami Heat, UFA, 27
Strus has had a very nice season for Miami. He hasn’t been efficient, but he can really score. The Heat lack depth and should keep him.

  9. Terrence Ross, SG, Phoenix Suns, UFA, 28
Ross is an athletic scorer who has made a huge difference since going to the Suns. He has made himself some money in Phoenix.

  10. Shake Milton, SG, Philadelphia 76ers, UFA, 26
Milton has a four-star name, and he is a solid talent in his own right. Milton is an efficient scorer and shooter with playmaking ability who could be a really solid third guard for many teams.

  11. Josh Richardson, SG, New Orleans Pelicans, UFA, 29
Richardson is a solid scorer and shooter as a fourth perimeter guy, and he is a nice fit with the Pelicans.

  12. Lonnie Walker, SG, Los Angeles Lakers, UFA, 23
Lonnie Walker is a solid role player who is having a really strong season with the Lakers. This season, he is a very efficient shooter and scorer, and has been one of few Lakers who has performed well.

  13. Donte DiVincenzo, SG, Golden State Warriors, 26
DiVincenzo is a strong three-and-d player for the Warriors. He has been a key role guy on talented teams for years, as he was in Milwaukee with Giannis Antetokounmpo. A championship-caliber roster seems to be where DiVincenzo belongs in the NBA.

  14. Jaylen Nowell, SG, Minnesota Timberwolves, RFA, 23
The Timberwolves have pathetic depth, the least in the NBA, but Nowell has been solid and had a huge jump in numbers.

  15. Nickeil Alexander-Walker, SG, Minnesota Timberwolves, RFA, 24
The Timberwolves combo guard is a strong bench guy, as Alexander-Walker is an uber-talented scorer who has been really efficient.

  16. Danny Green, SG, Cleveland Cavaliers, UFA, 35
Once an elite three-and-d guy, Green can continue as a shooting specialist.

  17. Aaron Holiday, SG, Atlanta Hawks, RFA, 24
The third brother is a shell of Jrue Holiday, but Aaron Holiday is young and has a skill, plus is a very strong shooter. He has a chance to improve too, making him a prospect to keep an eye on.

  18. Austin Reaves, SG, Los Angeles Lakers, RFA, 23
Reaves is a young shooter and scorer, who has been a bright light for a team that lacks shooting and is disappointing to say the least. He’s had a a really strong second season for the Lakers.

  19. R.J. Hampton, SG, Detroit Pistons, RFA, 25
Hampton is a talented scorer and rebounder for a guard, but he needs to be more efficient. He is very talented.

  20. Austin Rivers, SG, Minnesota Timberwolves, UFA, 30
At this point, Rivers is in the NBA for one reason; he remains a fantastic shooter. Still, he is little more than a third-string combo guard.

  21. Terrence Davis, SG, Sacramento Kings, UFA, 26
Davis is a very pesky defender and is a semi-efficient scorer who is shooting well.

  22. Romeo Langford, SG, San Antonio Spurs, RFA, 23
Langford is an intriguing player because of his youth and from recently being a first-round pick, but he doesn’t make threes, which he has to learn. Langford is still a prospect.

  23. Wes Matthews, SG, Milwaukee Bucks, UFA, 36
Matthews was one of the elite three-and-d players around, but he got old. Regardless, he is still a role player on a contender and can still shoot the ball.

  24. Bryn Forbes, SG, Minnesota Timberwolves, UFA, 29
Forbes has been a solid role player, but he has not performed this season. Forbes is a strong bench shooter though.

  25. Frank Ntilikina, SG, Dallas Mavericks, UFA, 24
Ntilikina is still in the NBA because of his defensive ability, but he won’t get close to the level people assumed when he was picked eighth in his draft.

  26. Josh Okogie, SG, Phoenix Suns, UFA, 24
A very recent lottery pick, Okogie has struggled, but in a small role, he is playing decent for Phoenix.

  27. Dylan Windler, SG, Cleveland Cavaliers, RFA, 26
Windler has been an inefficient scorer so far in the NBA and hasn’t played much, but finding minutes on the Cavaliers is not easy.

  28. Ham Diallo, SG, Detroit Pistons, UFA, 24
Diallo is an incredible athlete, which serves him well, and he is a solid scorer.

  29. Jarrett Culver, SG, Atlanta Hawks, UFA, 24
Culver was the seventh pick in his draft, but he simply hasn’t played well. The only reason he is on this list is his talent.

  30. Rodney McGruder, SG, Detroit Pistons, UFA, 31
McGruder is a very talented shooting specialist who should be with a contender.

  31. Svi Mykhailiuk, SG, New York Knicks, UFA, 26
The former Kansas star is a shooting specialist who has been inconsistent in the NBA.

  32. Theo Pinson, SG, Dallas Mavericks, UFA, 27
This is Pinson’s third straight season of barely getting minutes. He is a decent bench shooter though, which gives him some value.

  33. Leandro Bolmaro, SG, Utah Jazz, RFA, 22
Balmaro lacks a role on the Jazz and hasn’t received much time this season.
