NFL Draft Stock Report – 4/15/25

2025 NFL Draft Stock Up

Shavon Revel, CB, TCU

Revel has been one of the most active prospects on the pre-draft visit circuit. The reason for that is teams want to see where Revel is in his rehab from a knee injury that ended his 2024 season early. The feedback has been positive for Revel being ready for the 2025 season, and some sources think he could be selected in the back half of the first round next week.

Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas

Barron has interviewed well with teams and is in the mix to be the third cornerback drafted after Travis Hunter and Will Johnson. Barron looks like a plug-and-play contributor as a slot corner. With a number of cornerback-needy teams picking in the teens and 20s, Barron looks like a safe bet to be selected on the opening night of the draft.

Matthew Golden, WR, Texas

Golden has been active on the pre-draft visit circus, and there are a lot of teams that are looking for speed and playmaking ability. After a big season with the Longhorns, Golden showed his speed and explosiveness at the combine. Golden could go as high as the middle of the first round, and there are a lot of potential landing spots for him on the opening night of the draft. With Tet McMillan sliding, Golden could be the first receiver drafted.

Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

Sanders has seen some rise in his stock in recent weeks. Team sources said that he showed good accuracy at the Colorado showcase and also displayed a little more arm strength than some thought he had. Another bonus for Sanders’s hopes of going in the top-25 is the injury to veteran quarterback Derek Carr and Aaron Rodgers still being unsigned with Pittsburgh. With the Saints and Steelers still needing a starting quarterback, Sanders has an improved shot at landing with one of them.

2025 NFL Draft Stock Down

Isaiah Bond, WR, Texas

Bond turned himself into the police after a sexual assault allegation. Bond claims to be innocent and is said to be cooperating fully with authorities. Hopefully, nobody was harmed, and the timing of the allegations is a big problem for Bond’s draft status. With the draft just days away, it could be difficult for NFL teams to thoroughly investigate the situation and be comfortable selecting Bond in the draft. These allegations could be devastating and cause Bond’s stock to freefall around the league.

Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona

Since the very beginning of the 2025 NFL Draft process, McMillan has been the consensus top receiver and consistently projected to be selected in the top half of the first round. However, McMillan has slid in the final weeks leading up to the draft. While he did not have a poor workout on his pro day, teams are questioning McMillan’s work ethic. They feel that he is so naturally gifted he has not had to work hard, and they wonder if he is ready to adapt to the NFL, where he won’t be able to get by on just his natural ability. Hence, McMillan might go in the teens or 20s when he looked like a top-10 pick a few months ago.
