  • OT Austin Siereveld, No. 67

  • LB Arvell Reese, No. 8
  • CB Jermaine Mathews Jr., No. 7
  • CB Davison Igbinosun, No. 1
  • S Caleb Downs, No. 2

  • The Matchups:

It will be interesting to see how the star Ohio State linebackers of Arvell Reese and Sonny Styles handle Miami’s power rushing attack that led them to an opening round win over Texas A&M. There is a good draft matchup in this game with Hurricanes offensive tackle Francis Mauigoa taking on Ohio State edge rushers Kenyatta Jackson and Caden Curry. Carson Beck has shown the propensity to get rattled by good defenses so Mauigoa will need to keep rushers out of Beck’s face to help keep the Hurricanes offense effective. Miami defensive ends Rueben Bain and Akheem Mesidor will see a good test with the Ohio State offensive line.

Oregon vs. Texas Tech; Thursday, Jan. 1, 12:00 PM ET ABC

    The Prospects:

    Oregon
    • QB Dante Moore, No. 5
    • OT Isaiah World, No. 76
    • OT Alex Harkey, No. 71
    • TE Kenyon Sadiq, No. 18
    • DE Matayo Uiagalelei, No. 10
    • DT A’Mauri Washington, No. 52
    • OLB Teitum Tuioti, No. 44
    • S Dillon Thieneman, No. 31
    Texas Tech
    • DE David Bailey, No. 31
    • LB Jacob Rodriguez, No. 10
    • CB Brice Pollock, No. 14
    • WR Caleb Douglas, No. 5
    • WR Reggie Virgil, No. 1
    • QB Behren Morton, No. 2

    The Matchups:

This game has a great draft matchup with Red Raiders edge rusher David Bailey taking on Oregon left tackle Isaiah World. Bailey and World are early-round talents, and if one dominates the other, that could initiate a rise and fall in draft grade. Oregon quarterback Dante Moore could be a high first-rounder next April, and he is going to be tested by a talented Texas Tech defense.

Alabama vs. Indiana; Thursday, Jan. 1, 4:00 PM ET ABC

    The Prospects:

    Alabama
    • QB Ty Simpson, No. 15
    • C Parker Brailsford, No. 72
    • RB Jam Miller, No. 26
    • RB Dre Washington, No. 20
    • WR Germie Bernard, No. 5
    • WR Isaiah Horton, No. 1
    • TE Josh Cuevas, No. 80
    • LT Kadyn Proctor, No. 74
    • RT Wilkin Formby, No. 75
    • G Jaeden Roberts, No. 77
    • DT L.T. Overton, No. 22
    • DT Jah-Marien Latham, No. 20
    • DT Tim Keenan III, No. 96
    • DE Qua Russaw, No. 4
    • LB Justin Jefferson, No. 10
    • LB Deonte Lawson, No. 0
    • S Keon Sabb, No. 3
    • CB Domani Jackson, No. 1
    • S Bray Hubbard, No. 18
    Indiana
    • QB Fernando Mendoza, No. 15
    • WR Elijah Sarratt, No. 13
    • DE Mikail Kamara, No. 6
    • LB Aiden Fisher, No. 4
    • G Kahlil Benson, No. 67

    The Matchups:

Fernando Mendoza and Ty Simpson could be starting quarterbacks in the NFL next year, and they will be tested by two quality defenses. Mendoza dominated in 2025 with huge wins over Oregon and Ohio State. Simpson was on fire for a lot of 2025 before a slow finish. He showed some resilience by leading a comeback win over Oklahoma in the opening round of the playoffs. Both quarterbacks will have the eyes of the NFL on them, so this tape is going to carry a lot of weight for them leading up to the 2026 NFL Draft.

Ole Miss vs.Georgia; Thursday, Jan. 1, 8:00 PM ET ABC

    The Prospects:

    Ole Miss
    • DT Zxavian Harris, No. 51
    • LB Suntarine Perkins, No. 4
    • OT Diego Pounds, No. 61
    • TE Luke Hasz, No. 9
    • WR Harrison Wallace III, No. 2
    Georgia
    • TE Oscar Delp, No. 4
    • TE Lawson Luckie, No. 7
    • WR Dillon Bell, No. 86
    • WR Noah Thomas, No. 5
    • WR Zachariah Branch, No. 1
    • WR Colbie Young, No. 8
    • CB Daylen Everette , No. 6
    • G Micah Morris, No. 56
    • OT Monroe Freeling, No. 57
    • OT Earnest Greene III, No. 71
    • P Brett Thorson, No. 71
    • RB Cash Jones, No. 32

    The Matchups:

There are some interesting draft matchups in this game with Rebels fast linebacker/edge rusher Suntarine Perkins taking on the Georgia tackle tandem of Monroe Freeling and Earnest Greene. Perkins has dropped into coverage more this season, but the Rebels will need him to get after the quarterback to have a shot at upsetting the Bulldogs.
