Leavitt, Johnson Impress Team Sources

The 2026 NFL Draft process is in full force as scouts have been traveling across the country and watching prospects in fall camp. In speaking to team sources, two under-the-radar quarterback prospects have impressed some scouts. Those players are Arizona State’s Sam Leavitt and Kansas State’s Avery Johnson.

In 2024, Leavitt completed 62 percent of his passes for 2,885 yards with 24 touchdowns and six interceptions. Listed at 6-foot-2, 205 pounds, Leavitt does not have ideal size, but his passing ability has impressed some team sources who have been to fall camp to watch him.
