2011 NBA Draft Scouting Report: Markieff Morris
Position: Power Forward
Size: 6-10, 245
School: Kansas, Junior
Strengths:
Weaknesses:
Summary: Markieff Morris has always been a physical presence inside, but his developing perimeter jump shot has really helped his stock this season. His natural fit is at power forward but he could also play the center position at the next level if needed. He is in the 2011 NBA Draft for good and should be taken in the middle of the first round.
Player Comparison: Antonio McDyess. Think McDyess post-injury; an effective big man who can knock down jump shots but also be a factor inside with his physicality. Morris will fit a similar role as he will never be a star in the league but should become a steady contributor due to his size and skill level.
