2012 NBA Draft Scouting Report: Darius Miller
Position: Small Forward
Size: 6-8, 235
School: Kentucky, Senior
Strengths:
Weaknesses:
Summary: Darius Miller has been overshadowed throughout his entire career due to all the one-and-dones who have been in Lexington. During his time at Kentucky, though, he has been an underrated player and adapted to any role that he has been asked to play. I think some team could take him late in the first round and hope he can play a role off the bench. Most draft experts target him as a second-round pick, but I really like what he offers with his versatility on both ends of the floor.
Player Comparison: Shane Battier. I told you I was high on Miller. Picture Batter later in his career; a guy who defends a few different positions, knocks down open shots, plays hard and knows his role. I really believe Miller can be that type of player at the next level.
