AUG. 21
Sidney Rice, WR, Vikings 
Sidney Rice tested his hip out on Friday, and things didn’t go very well. Rice admitted that he could miss the season opener.
Chaz Schilens, WR, Raiders Chaz Schilens missed yet another practice because of a foot injury and could be out for Saturday’s preseason game. Schilens’ foot problems are a growing concern; he’s been severely limited this offseason despite the fact that his foot should be healed by now.
AUG. 20
Percy Harvin, WR, Vikings Percy Harvin scared everyone Thursday afternoon. He collapsed during practice and vomited, and later had to be hospitalized. Bernard Berrian tweeted that Harvin is OK, but it just goes to show how serious Harvin’s migraines are. If you draft Harvin, you’ll almost certainly miss him for at least a couple of weeks.
AUG. 19
Michael Bush, RB, Raiders 
Darren McFadden just missed his 10th straight practice and won’t play in Saturday’s preseason game. Michael Bush, meanwhile, looked great in the exhibition opener. The job’s pretty much his.
AUG. 18
Brett Favre, QB, Vikings Here’s a math problem: If Brett Favre leaves on a plane from Mississippi and travels north to Minnesota at 540 miles per hour, how many times can he annoy the hell out of us with his wishy-washy retirement crap? Favre’s back, and there should have never been any doubt from anyone that he would play this year. Shame on the media for falling for this ridiculous charade.
Sidney Rice, WR, Vikings The Minneapolis Star-Tribune is reporting that Sidney Rice may suit up for a preseason game after all, despite his injured hip. This is great news for Rice owners, as the emerging stud wideout hasn’t practiced at all throughout training camp.
Brian Westbrook, RB, 49ers I gave my take on the Brian Westbrook signing yesterday, but I absent-mindedly forgot to add him to my 2010 Fantasy Football Rankings. Well, here he is. Westbrook should be good for about 100 touches this year, and he could have much more if Frank Gore gets hurt. He’s worth a late-round flier in PPR formats.
