NFL Draft Mailbag Notes: These are not actually e-mails. They are comments left on the comment board in my 2011 NFL Mock Draft. I've included some of these comments and my responses to them.

2011 NFL Draft E-mails - Hate Mail

From Walter's A Fraud:

Walter, you've unprofessionally insulted Ryan Mallett repeatedly and multiples times you've said he's very unintelligent. You even said at one point that he could have a historically bad Wonderlic score. Turns out, he got a 26, above Cam Newton (21), Jake Locker (22), and the average (25). You were blatantly wrong. So how can we consider you or your sources credible?

--> Obviously the Wonderlic is a great measure of intelligence. Ryan Mallett did a great job pointing out that September is the ninth month of the year. Whoop dee freaking doo.

Mallett's 26 is probably the wrong score anyway. Chris Mortensen reported this, and he was already wrong about Blaine Gabbert's score. I heard from another source that Mallett scored a 9. So maybe he doesn't know what the ninth month of the year is.

From Mike:

Okay, I got it ... you don't like Chris Hope's performance. I've been reading for the past year since the Titans lost to Indy at home on MNF, but can you move past it? Do you really think Munch is going to bring in a QB without more OL protection?

--> Are you sure you get it? I don't think you get it. Quick, someone think of a Chris Hope joke so Mike can understand that Hope sucks.

The Titans have to bring in a new quarterback. They can't sell their fans on Rusty Smith and/or Kerry Collins for a year. No one would go to the games once the team loses its fifth in a row to start the 2011 season.

From KD:

the browns would instantly have the best secondary in the league by drafting Peterson? LOL. the packers would still be atop that category with ease, einstein. You're reasoning for many of these picks is idiotic and shallow

--> I love it when people call someone an idiot and screw up their grammar in the same sentence. At any rate, you could argue that the Packers would still be better there, but we don't know what Green Bay will get out of an aging Charles Woodson next year.

From Bob:

Walt, some of your opinions couldn't be more off base. I don't know where you get this stuff, hopefully you hear it else where and just regurgitate it, because if you actually believe some off the stuff that put in these mock drafts than you are crazy.

--> Sorry, I was just eating my own dingleberries. What are you saying about crazy!? I'm not crazy!!?!?!?!??!!??!?!?!!!!!

From The April Fool's Mock isn't nearly this bad:

Since there are no comments on that humor abortion, I'll say it here. You're just a jacka**. Unfounded insults, the same tired routine no matter how often your "insight" is proven completely wrong, and Jimmy Clausen't microscopic QB IQ shoved all the way down your throat. Sadly, the April Fool's mock is supposed to be bad, but it just goes to show your a schmuck with pure douchebag sense of humor.

--> Yes!!! My goal was to sound like a schmuck with a pure douchebag sense of humor, so I have obviously succeeded. Thank you for the compliments!

Hey Walt, I have the feeling that there will be more trading in the first 2 rounds than ever before since QB's will be at a premium and better teams may be willing to trade back because of the depth at other positions. Do you see many of the early second round teams trading into the back of the 1st round such as the 49ers or Texans trading up for Ponder or Dalton?

Hey Walt- I always love your stuff and trying to mock a 7 round draft is like herding cats. As a packer fan my only issue is when I see huge reaches like noel devine in the 4th round. I feel the pack organization is 1 of the few that usually doesnt reach for need but takes players that unexpectedly fall such as Bulaga last year or Finley a few years back. They may take a rb like Vereen, Murray, Hunter, Green, in the 4th but I doubt Devine. Keep up the great work because soon we'll all be wrong.

Walt, you make fun of people who make grammar mistakes but you made one yourself in this article. You stated that Stephen Paea is "the prototype of what Wade Phillips look for." Unless somebody cloned him and there are now multiple Wade Phillips, it should say "what Wade Phillips looks for."

I would like to say to anyone who wants to post some hate comment to try to write something clever. Walt's mocks always make sense, some comments don't...

If someone find a mock draft which will be 100% right, i will s*ck his c*ck. (PS for stupid haters : that was ironic dumb b*stard, like many of Walt's comments)

Hilarious that you combat Mallett's wonderlic score which clearly proves you wrong about his intelligence with "well Chris Mortensen was wrong about Gabbert's score so he's probably wrong about this too. I heard he got a 9".

Seems like a 9 would have been stated already by a media dog who wants to bring him down more, or it seems like you of all people would have loved to break that news.

Okay man, you need to get your facts straight about Ryan Mallet. He's from texarkana, arkansas. if you know people from there they all take like rednecks with a ghetto accent. its just how he talks who cares? chris johnson talks like a dummy (read his tweets) and no one ever questioned his ability? and also everyone smokes weed now.
