NFL Draft Stock Report 3/18/25

Darien Porter

2025 NFL Draft Stock Up

Darien Porter, CB, Iowa State

In 2024, Porter was a dependable cover corner for the Cyclones. He had 18 tackles with three interceptions and two passes broken up. Porter started out his career at wide receiver before switching to cornerback. Porter has a tremendous skill set with a ton of upside. At the NFL Scouting Combine he put that on display with a 4.30 time in the 40-yard dash at 6-foot-3, 195-pounds. Porter is a riser and could end up going in the early rounds.

Marcus Sigle, S, Kansas State

Sigle (5-11, 199) had a solid senior year for Kansas State with 60 tackles, three interceptions, and three passes broken up. The previous season, he had 63 tackles with an interception and nine passes broken up. Sigle (5-11, 199) had an excellent performance at the NFL Scouting Combine with a 4.37 time in the 40-yard dash, and that really helped him to generate more interest from evaluators.

Jared Wilson, C, Georgia

The 2025 NFL Draft is not a strong year for center talent, but Wilson is one of the few prospects that could have starter potential for the NFL. Wilson worked out very well at the NFL Scouting Combine including a fast 40 time of 4.84 seconds. At 6-foot-3, 310 pounds, Wilson has quality size for the NFL. Wilson could get day two consideration.

R.J. Harvey, RB, Central Florida

Harvey (5-8, 205) was a dynamic and tough runner for UCF in 2024. He averaged 6.8 yards per carry for 1,577 yards with 22 touchdowns. He also had 20 receptions for 267 yards and three touchdowns. In 2023, he averged 6.3 yards per carry for 1,416 yards with 16 touchdowns. He caught 19 passes for 238 yards and two scores that season. Harvey has some natural running ability and has gained weight to put together a strong build. He started out his collegiate career at Virginia as a quarterback before entering the portal and switching to running back. Some team sources think Harvey could be a mid-round steal.

Tajh Brooks, RB, Texas Tech

Some team sources think that Brooks (5-9, 214) could be a hidden gem in the 2025 NFL Draft. He has been very productive over the last two seasons and has some natural running instincts to go along with toughness. In 2024 with the Red Raiders, Brooks averaged 5.3 yards per carry for 1,505 yards with 17 touchdowns. He had 28 catches for 199 yards and a touchdown. In 2023, he averaged 5.3 yards per carry for 1,541 yards with 10 touchdowns.

2025 NFL Draft Stock Down

Mello Dotson, CB, Kansas

Dotson is a big cornerback but has speed and athletic limitations for the NFL. Those were put on display at the NFL Scouting Combine when he had a very slow 40 time of 4.59 seconds. Dotson needs to show significant improvement in other workouts leading up to the draft.

Zy Alexander, CB, LSU

Alexander had a slow 40 time at the combine of 4.56 seconds. He has quality size for the NFL, but that 40 time is going to be hard for teams to look past. Alexander looks destined for the late rounds or undrafted free agent ranks.
