2025 NFL Draft Stock Up
Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina
Emmanwori put his tremendous skill set on display at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine. The big safety had an electric 40-yard dash time of 4.38 seconds, which is an amazingly fast time for a 6-foot-3, 220-pound safety. On top of his skill set, Emmanwori has excellent tape from his time with the Gamecocks. Emmanwori proved that he is one of the top talents in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Tyleik Williams, DT, Ohio State
Williams has not gotten the media attention he deserves, as there are a lot of NFL evaluators who really like him. Some have him as a potential late first-rounder, and he is unlikely to get out of the second round. Williams was superb in the field drills at the combine, showing quickness, agility, and power in a large body. This combine performance verifies what Williams put on tape with the Buckeyes.
Brady Cook, QB, Missouri
Cook is not one of the top quarterback prospects, but multiple team sources said they were impressed with how he threw the ball during the field drills. They thought Cook displayed good arm strength, accuracy, and mechanics. At 6-foot-2, 214 pounds, Cook has adequate size to play quarterback in the NFL. In 2024, he completed 63 percent of his passes for 2,535 yards with 11 touchdowns and two interceptions. In 2023, he completed 66 percent of his passes for 3,317 yards with 21 touchdowns and six interceptions. Cook helped himself with NFL teams and has given them a reason to do more work on studying him for the 2025 NFL Draft.
Ty Robinson, DT, Nebraska
Robinson has been rising with NFL teams after a solid college career, a quality Senior Bowl, and now a good combine performance. Some sources said they gave Robinson a starter grade, which could have him going on the second day of the draft. Robinson (6-5, 288) is a physical, strong, high effort player. His combine should solidify the day two projections.
Maxwell Hairston, CB, Kentucky
Hairston had a superb combine, highlighted by his phenomenal 40-yard dash time of 4.28 seconds. On top of running fast, Hairston was impressive in the field drills. The 5-foot-11, 183-pounder helped himself with pro teams. If his character evaluation comes back as okay, Hairston could have punched his ticket for the first round in Indianapolis.
2025 NFL Draft Stock Down
James Pearce Jr., DE, Tennessee
While Pearce had an electric 40 time, team sources said that Pearce did not interview well with teams. They had a lot of character concerns about Pearce, and he was not successful at removing them. Mutiple sources at different teams said that Pearce was being dropped off their board. Pearce has a top half of the first-round skill set, but the character concerns could cause him to slide significantly.
Sebastian Castro, S, Iowa
Castro hurt himself at the NFL Scouting Combine with a 4.59 time in the 40-yard dash. The Iowa safety is not big at 5-foot-11, 203 pounds, so being that size and running slow will give concerns about him running with pro receivers. The combine performance could push Castro to day three of the 2025 NFL Draft.
